*raises hand and FLAILS* Friends? My boyfriend and I are both foodies. Not only do we both have a terrible sweet tooth, but he's an adventurous cook and I'm an adventurous baker. The downside? He gets to eat about 1,000 more calories than me when we're on maintenance. MEN. I'M JEALOUS. Luckily we've made a pact to be…

Feel free to add me! The more, the merrier. It helps having people to scrutinize your diary. xD

Regular, full-sugar soda for me. Cans are about 140-150cal, 20oz bottles like 260cal, so it's relatively easy for me to fit soda into my calories. I typically stick to cans or smaller bottles simply because I couldn't consume all that sugar at once. Something else that I've been doing lately is, at restaurants where I have…

My philosophy? Just listen to your body. I don't think it matters when or how often you eat as long as 1) you're eating at a deficit and 2) you're not letting yourself get too hungry, to the point that you're tempted to overeat. My boyfriend's content with three meals a day, maybe a nibble in between, but I need to eat…

I feel your pain. Right now, I'm a college sophomore who won't be leaving home until this summer. On top of all the bad choices thrown at me by the school vending machines, café, etc., I also struggle with finding good food at home, as I (the kid) have very little say in what stocks our fridge and pantry. It doesn't help…

All of this...the first one, especially! Last time I lost weight and tried to maintain, I fell off the wagon and stopped caring, ended up gaining all my lost weight back and more; at least losing weight helps me stay disciplined. Now, granted, I'm only 125lbs right now, but it's actually doing a number on me (5'1" with a…

I've got 15lbs to lose as well! It's hard--I have my goal set to -0.5lbs/week--but the results, as small as they are and as slowly as they start to appear, are extremely rewarding!

Now that March is around the corner: avoid the school vending machines for a whole month. All they have that's not going to make my Fitbit cry is pretzels...but who wants plain pretzels from a vending machine? Gonna start "practicing" today and find out how much money I'll be saving in the process!

I'm currently trying to lose 15ish pounds while on birth control (Junel-Fe 1/20). Upon starting the pill, I acquired what felt like the appetite of a 14-year-old athlete, and the only relatively harmless things I could do to quell the hunger were drink copious amounts of coffee and tea (really any hot beverage) and eat…

Sweets are my drug of choice. I can't even chew sugar-free gum at work without being bit by a tidal wave of longing for a sip of fresh, cold soda from the fountain. It's crippling sometimes, and it makes me really self-conscious how desperate I can be just to get a taste of something sweet. Fruit rarely does any justice.…

Honestly? Yes! I'm in college and still live at home, but I'm soon to move out and find it exciting--freeing, actually--to buy my own groceries. My family likes heavy, stick-to-your-ribs food and processed snacks, so every Friday night (payday!!) I stop at the store after work and replenish my stocks of healthy "school…

Hi, there! I'm a returning user as well. Anyone here please feel free to add me; I'd like to see other people's names in my news feed for a change and have some friends to hold me accountable for my choices. hehe.

I'm 5'1" and currently 125lbs, but I feel best at 109-110 due to a slight frame. Even this tiny bit of pudge--barely enough to start a muffin-top--is hard to lug around sometimes. .-.

I prefer my coffee black, but I have a sensitive stomach, so if that's acting up, I'll add the tiniest splash of milk--just enough to cover the bottom of an empty mug--so as to mellow it out without cooling it down or taking away from the taste. c:
