  • Appreciate the feedback. Sounds like I can safely go with weight measurements... thanks all!
  • This may sound slightly silly, but depending on your needs head over to the nearest tobacco/head shop and pick up a stoner scale for 20 bucks. Super accurate to the tenth of a gram. Not ideal for bulk but a few lbs worth of food works great :)
  • While that's generally true, it doesn't answer my question. What I should be doing differently :) I'll take a look. Thanks! They do but I think the quality of the trainer isn't guaranteed unfortunately (based on my personal experience anyhow).
  • I typically let the app decide how many calories I burned by lifting and don't worry about accuracy. Honestly, on lifting days, I don't particularly mind eating a bit extra. Lifting is by far much harder on my body than any cardio I do so I figure the extra calories for recovery are well earned. Doing this does not seem to…

The conclusion - the scale doesn't tell the entire story (your weight will fluctuate based on sodium intake, water, etc.). You legitimately are 3lbs less this week than you were last week, but you can be confident that at those calories you…

Your body will unfortunately decide what part of your body to take the fat from. There is no spot reduction, there is only total fat…
  • Appreciate the responses. To clarify the abnormal EKG was the reason I went to the cardio doctor for a stress test. He reviewed the EKG results and we went through the stress test and he essentially said I had nothing to worry about. Reduce my blood pressure and the only changes needed were lifestyle. He cleared me for…
  • As said... I have recently been at the doctor. Recently had a stress test. Recently had EKG. My resting heart rate appears to be fine.
