This may sound slightly silly, but depending on your needs head over to the nearest tobacco/head shop and pick up a stoner scale for 20 bucks. Super accurate to the tenth of a gram. Not ideal for bulk but a few lbs worth of food works great :)

While that's generally true, it doesn't answer my question. What I should be doing differently :) I'll take a look. Thanks! They do but I think the quality of the trainer isn't guaranteed unfortunately (based on my personal experience anyhow).

I typically let the app decide how many calories I burned by lifting and don't worry about accuracy. Honestly, on lifting days, I don't particularly mind eating a bit extra.
