Everyone has those kind of 💩 running days. No worries. I have every confidence in the world that you will kick Boston Marathon’s butt!

@HonuNui I'm so sorry. I wish I had words that would make it better. Sending a virtual hug.

Oh noes @workaholic_nurse ! I was also a million posts behind and just saw the car pictures. Ugh, that SUCKS! Take care of yourself! I can only imagine the amount of bruising and inflammation from the seat belt/impact and air bag.... yikes

@Elise4247 I used to run in Mizuno’s but they got too expensive. The soles wear out WAY too fast and the last time I tried to order shoes from their website I had a nightmare customer service experience. I tried to go back to New Balence but I think I kind-of hate their new Fresh Foam line... These were all road running…

@Elise4270 My daughter works at a brewery and they had a "0.5k marathon". Fun twist, you had to run with a full beer cup and you could not spill (or drink) it until the end or you were disqualified. LOL

Ditto. It looks amazing @ContraryMaryMary ! If only I were not terrified of heights....

Have fun @MobyCarp! I know 2 people who did the whale challenge last year. They loved that race. :)

RE: monthly question Ladies, this sports bra is the best I have ever owned. Seriously. It is totally worth the money spent on it. https://www.fleetfeet.com/products/womens-brooks-rebound-racer-sports-bra

It was more like hiking with running intervals. I kind-of suck at trail running. The first part of the…

I love my knuckle lights! They are easy to turn on and off as needed. This is a great asset when running on the mean suburban streets. ;). Plus, I can aim and shine them in the eyes of inattentive drivers acting like *kitten*holes to get their attention. You can’t do that with a head lamp (not easily anyway).

I am running the double weekend with a couple of other ladies in my running group. They are already Marathon Maniac members and I was starting to feel left out. LOL I am not running for a time and I wont be PRing anything. I am just going to try and survive the weekend.

Ditto! Sounds like a great day. :)

@polskagirl01 Definitely take recovery seriously. I put in too many junk miles training for Miami and it showed. My pace slowed way down toward the end of the training plan. I got super discouraged, was exhausted, kept getting sick, and did not do as well as I would have liked at Miami. I ended up walking the last 4 miles…

@mbaker566 Can you email the race director? Maybe you can post your questions on their race Facebook page. I am sure other people have the same questions.

3/1 = 10.5 miles 3/2 = 12 miles 3/3 = rest day 3/4 = rest day I slept though my 5 phone alarms this morning. The temp dropped into the 20s last night and my bed was very warm and comfy. I might try to squeeze in a few miles tonight when i get off work? If I can find the motivation... I hate running in the evening after…

3/1 = 10.5 miles 3/2 = 12 miles Just another boring run through suburbia. We are scheduled to get thunderstorms tomorrow and the temp is going to drop from the mid 70s to 26 (Fahrenheit). I almost signed up for a half in San Antonio on Sunday. I am really glad my bank account told me “NO!”. The weather is going to suck.…
