• I think your point that ' for some people food is just food' is important. My husband is like that. Doesn't eat when he's upset which I do, is fine with one or two spoons of choc mousse, 2 chips etc.bin fact he prefers it and feels uncomfortable otherwise. (What??!!) I eat for lots of reasons that I see more clearly lately…
• Thanks for your response! I will try that too. I think seeing a number and then having to eat back only part of those calories will be hard for me to remember to do! quote="NaturalNancy;35575048"]I think maybe I'll try not to log it and see what happens, good idea thanks!
• Thanks! I'm not losing at all in in fact gained 1/2 lb. I'll try logging only 75 percent of the exercise time so I eat back some calories but not all. Also get better with my diary accuracy. :) quote="middlehaitch;35575182"]I don't like not eating any back. It makes me too tired to enjoy life and more susceptible to minor…
• Thanks for the response. I've been there and it didn't last so what you're saying makes sense.
• Thanks! What do you think of not logging the exercise (but still doing it) or recording only a portion of the exercise you do as a way of avoiding the over estimate?
• Ok, I get it. Thanks! So when people say to 'eat back' only a percentage of those calories they mean maybe eat back 100 instead of the 200 MFP says I can eat. Makes me sad because I loved getting those extra calories... Has anyone tried just not logging the exercise as a way of avoiding what some say are the over-inflated…
• Thanks! I have a bad feeling I am not recording accurately and that the calories from exercise may be too high... Appreciate your thoughts!! quote="lemonlionheart;35574607"][img]https://us.v-cdn.net/5021879/uploads/editor/po/3jn47c1cpfoz.jpg[/i
[/img]
