Kirstie, you did really great also for your first 4 weeks. That's an incredible loss. But I know the reduction of pain must be the biggest pay off of all. Keep doing what you are doing and continue to heal your body. We all want to look great but health is definitely the most important.

This site below has given me hope that it really might be possible. A few yummy looking dishes. The following quote was very encouraging... HEMP SEEDS!!!!!!!! They are the answer to everything vegan-keto. High in healthy fats (lots of omegas), low in carbs and ZERO net carbs, and great source of protein too!! I turn them…

Still on the fence regarding the ketogenic diet. I am certainly intrigued. Trying to convince myself that I can eat the same things over and over again for 3 weeks. Also, concerned that I could end up hating tofu by the time that I'm done -- don't want that because it's one of the high protein vegan foods that I really…

Week: 4 Workout: #3 Deadlifts 100 lb 4 × 6 Shoulder Press 39 lb 4 × 6 Bentover DB Rows 30 lbs 4 x 6 My neck stopped hurting once I stopped doing the inverted rows. But again, I'm sure I was doing them incorrectly. Wow, can't believe I've already completed the last strength training session of the first 4 weeks. Time really…

Sorry things are not going well Tiffany. Take care of yourself and join us when you can. I hope things are better for you very soon. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
-
So sorry you do not feel well Kirstie. Please, please listen to your body so that you do not prolong the pain any longer than necessary.
-
Thanks Amy! I will check it out. Sorry about the mix up.

Wow, lots of information and all sounds very interesting. Amy, it's hard for me to imagine eating fish. I suppose I could for a SINGLE meal but I don't think I could do it for days at a time. I think I can definitely get enough protein from tofu and tempeh since it's not a high protein diet. As for fat, unless I am under…

Regarding the ketogenic diet... first let me say that I fully believe our group has what it takes to respect each others individual choices. I trust that if it were necessary, we could ALL disagree on a topic and still be MOST respectful. Now that we got that out the way. Don't be too shocked but even I am…

Oh, I forgot to add that I also do the elliptical. The reason I enjoy it is that I only do it because I am watching TV show. So, I made the decision that I might as well burn some calories instead of sitting on the couch. I do it so slowly that I don't even break a sweat. If I log the activity in MFP, it automatically…

I hear ya! If I don't enjoy it then I don't want to do it. I love walking so I know I will do it for the rest of my life. I even enjoy a light jog once in awhile (certainly not at this higher weight) but my point is that I will only do it if I can enjoy it. I know most people hate jogging and it's wonderful knowing that I…

Amy, I hear you on the OHP. My highest was only 46 lbs last time around and I felt like I'd never go any higher. But I didn't care as my shoulder were starting to look so sexy -- so truth be told, I'd be okay lifting just the naked bar as long as my shoulders eventually reflect the look I want. I did Pendlay rows…

Week: 4 Workout: #1 Monday, January 23, 2017 at 5:10 AM Deadlifts 100 lb 4 × 6 Shoulder Press 39 lb 4 × 6 Bentover DB Rows 30 lbs 4 x 6 My neck has been hurting from the inverted rows. Makes it very difficult to sleep at night. Pretty sure I was doing them wrong. Might try them again once the hurt is gone. Substituting…

Wow, that was a lot of great status to read. Fanncy congrats on the loss. I can really relate to how challenging it is to lose the pounds because it's no fun having to restrict calories. Must be motivating though as long you are seeing results. I'm still waiting patiently for my results. Kirstie, you are working those…

Kirstie, congrats on your pain free. I can only imagine how exciting that must feel.
-
Fanncy, please don't push too hard too soon. Your body needs enough energy to get rid of the illness. We can't chance jeopardizing the health of our Kettlebell Queen. :) Feel better soon!

Kirstie, I weigh every single day. I love learning how my body reacts to different foods, TOM, etc so that I know not to freak out when the scale temporarily goes up. Also, I take the average and count that as my weight for the week since we are constantly fluctuating. But eventually, I want to be able to maintain and not…

Tiffany, I think you might have me beat with the spreadsheet. LOL! But I don't know as I just finished adding conditionally formulas that change the color of the cells based on fat loss results each week. I'm pulling for you to reach that 175.

I sent Tiffany a private message and left her the message below but in the old thread. Tiffancylacourse, I see that you posted to the original sign up post. I've been trying not to launch that thread but thought I would check it to see if may you were the one who posted. Admittedly, I do want to keep the group small and…
