Please get it checked out so it doesn't turn into a chronic issue or in any case at least so that you enjoy being you and living the life you want and love to the fullest. Injury can be a stealthy, nagging s.o.b. so just be careful.

I jog 3 miles every other day and do 80 to 100 squats everyday and pullups, situps and back extensions/crunches everyday as well. Dietwise, i follow what sone would call an alternate day diet where I eat 2500/+ Cal. one day and drink teas and water the next day. I've been maintaining so far for my height of 5'7" at 124 lbs.

Maybe those women who eat more are more physically active, probably doing resistance and cardio exercises everyday, which may be why they can eat on avg 2000+ Cal. per day and still stay lean. Hmmm... we need tob interview those women to know for sure (-:

as has been said above, OP, it's calories in vs calories out. but you also need to be consistent. keep pushing yourself. even if you slip back to poor habits here and there, no matter what, keep pushing yourself. i myself am fighting to be more even keeled in my daily habits. my diet is just a part of my goal overall. best…
