Hi :) I'm 23 - lost about 14 lbs & looking to lose between 40-50lbs total.

I've made it more difficult to be lazy. First I got a job where the only way to get to work was to walk (30 mins, there and back). After about 8 month of this my office moved to a different city. I followed and found somewhere to live alongside a cycle path. I now do a 6 mile cycle to work everyday (and then back again!).…

I weigh daily and use trendweight synced to my fitbit to average my loss. There are also phone apps which work too - happy scale (apple) and libra (android) are two which I hear mentioned a lot!
-
Depends on how tall you are and how much you weigh! My Fitbit HR gives me around 500 extra calories from 10k steps (set on sedentary). I'm 5ft 6, 177lbs.

I also have exercise induced asthma, though quite mild. General day to day life I don't even think about it. I really struggle with running, my lungs hate me for it - even with a puff of my inhaler 10ish mins before I start. I've recently gotten a bicycle and it doesn't have that strain on my lungs that running did - I'm…

Haven't lost much weight but my monthly average resting heartbeat (according to fitbit) has fallen from 78 average to 68 average! I'm definitely getting healthier :)
-
Sounds fab - I'll add you!

Use what you wrote here: "I've seen you here a lot lately - just wanted to say you are killing it on the elliptical! Keep it up!" I'm like 100% sure that a few words of encouragement would go a long way!

MFP gives me 1500 cals to eat, for a deficit of 1lb a week. On average I burn 500 calories a day, so I actually eat around 2000 calories to maintain a net of 1500. I'm losing weight :)

Sometimes I plug the cable in the wrong way round - it shouldn't happen cause it has a notch in the connector but I can still manage it occasionally, so... uhh double check?! :D

I'm pretty new to going to the gym, I started early December. Mostly I've been running on a treadmill doing c25k, going 3 times a week - It's cold outside at the minute, and I don't feel comfortable running outside. Most people in my gym look at me like I shouldn't be there, I've got a bit of weight on me and I probably…

My net is 1500, but I usually eat 1800-2000 cause of exercise calories :)

I suffer from eczema and sometimes an anti histamine / allergy tablets can help relieve symptoms in the short run!

Oh man, I love broccoli. Try a breaking into florets, drizzle some olive oil & sea salt and oven roasting. Throw it in a stir fry - keep it crunchy. Broccoli and cheese soup - so good!

I have eczema :( but it does seem to have improved since I started eating better. Cause my BF can't eat grains we cook everything from scratch and I rarely eat out / get takeaway. I usually get itchy after I get chinese food, and last time I ate pizza I broke out in spots! :s I heard that reducing dairy can really help…

I have a fitbit charge HR and I love it! very comfy, easy to use, and so far it's looking pretty accurate! Syncs to my phone and then to MFP.

Looking to loose about 40 - 50lbs!

I eat Gluten Free and Grain Free because my partner has really bad reactions to them, so we don't have them in the house. It's not quite Paleo, as we have so much dairy! For me, I have no reaction to either grains or gluten. I think I eat healthier, a lot less processed food & nearly everything cooked from scratch. BUT it…

I've got a painful blister on my foot from walking / running so much! I think it's time for me to treat myself to some new properly-fitted trainers!

My goal is 1500 but I exercise to eat more! :D

Mine was expensive - it's the fitbit aria scale! I love it though. Does weight & Body fat %, I just stand on it and it syncs to fit bit via wi-fi and then MFP. I don't even have to think about it! If you have coins to spare - get it! (havent been on here long, but had the scale for over 6 months!)
-
BF has coeliacs and grain allergies, we eat a BAZILLION potatoes!

I go to the gym because I know as soon as I get home I don't want to do anything, so I walk there after work monday, wednesday, friday. It's only an extra 30 minutes walking to my day, if i went home first it would be an hour walking there and back! If you know you're motivated enough at home - go for it! But I'm not, so…

I recently started - I'm doing W2D2 this evening! :) I'm already feeling fitter!
