So glad to hear this advice because I was getting horrible shin splints and now have a stress fracture on the bone..... So now I'm completely done running until I heel. Definitely will make the running more gradual than what I was doing once I get back into it. I have the stamina but not strong enough bones for how tough…

Yes- couch to 5k is the full name and it's an app designed to help you "gradually" get into running. The idea is great but I also think that each person varies in how gradual the running should increase each week so I think it's good for some and maybe too much for others

This is amazing and I can totally relate! I just finished week 3 and when I'm running, I usually try to run around 6mph and walk at 3.9 or 4.0. I'm actually taking a break for w week or so due to injury on my shin bone I believe was caused from running too much too soon. But I am planning on gradually getting back into it…

Amazing! 25lbs in 4 months is my goal as well so glad to hear it worked for you!

All great advice! I will definitely take all of it into consideration... Already bought better running shoes due to shin splints and try to take a break from running in between days. Thanks for the advice!

Thank you! Good luck to you as well

Thank you! So far it's been so good... Signing up for a 5k for my birthday (first weekend of April)!

Great to hear!! I've only heard good things about it so I'm hoping it will work its magic on me:) hoping to do a 5k,10k, and half marathon all in this year

Thank you! Hearing stories like yours seriously motivates me. I know I can do it, I just have to get there and time is what makes it hard. But thanks for sharing your story! Sounds like you have it down:)

Thank you so much! And I honestly think food is my issue... I loveeee food especially the good stuff. I have definitely been trying to portion each meal and pack healthy things to snack on during the day and what not. What percent of workouts vs clean eating would you say you and your husband did?

I love it, but I have actually lost it before because it does fall out.... I just keep a very close eye on it and get a new band every few months. But it definitely is a great motivator for me. I cannot sleep knowing I didn't reach my goal for the day
