An apple a day.

Well I can handle a pound, but certainly not 10 lbs. Better stick to maybe 1 BBQ beef sandwich and veggie platter

Hi, I'm 58, started mid December, have lost almost 12 pounds. I challenge woman at work to get the most steps in and they are 20 years younger than me, and I still can do it. I can now walk up the stairs at work, 4 flights, still get winded, but can do it. I have been doing a lot of bodyweight exercises, to try to build…

I tried spinach, carrot and tomato once. It was horrible. Tasted like grasd

thanks guys, I have the peanut butter/chocolate one, didn't taste that great mixed with water. But today I put it in the vitamix and added one cup of unsweetened almond milk and a banana, and it tastes really good that way. Very filling also.

I am getting stronger at calisthenics

I find keeping a small orange helps. They are sweet so satisfies my sweet tooth

I started 30 days ago, began with 30 pounds to lose, lost 10 pounds, last week been at a plateau, so still need 18 more to lose.

2 cups of weak black coffee for me I will not give up my coffee
-
Well I can't eat right before going to bed because I do have acid reflux and I'd be up all night with bad heartburn or have really strange dreams
-
my sleep gets logged but all screwed up, it does it in shifts it seems. I sleep from 10 - 1, then next line sleep from 1:30 - 5. Weird.
-
ok, thank you
-
thanks
-
Well it started working but now it isn't again. Problem must be in their end
-
it's working now

well, I played around with my goals a bit, and since I have less than 20 pounds to lose, I changed my goal setting from 1 lb/week to .5 lb/week, now my calorie intake went up 220. So I was at 1200 at 1/lb/week now at 1420 at .5/lb/week. I'll play around with .5 and see what happens. Least I can eat more now.

No, the 83 was just yesterday, I didn't do all the extra walking yesterday, I was just kind of lazy.
-
Wow, you don't even look like the same guy. Awesome for you
-
well turns out we are not going to BWW after all. Fine with me, miss out on high calorie food (although I do love the food there) and boring UFC fights.

So, I am wondering, I have my profile set as sedentary because I have a desk job, I'm wondering if I should change that to lightly active because yes I sit while I'm doing my job, but I walk 15 minutes twice a day and then another 1/2 hour once a day while at work, then I come home and do more exercises. As I stated…
-
I don't know why it is only at 1200, I said I only want to lose 1 lb/week. I clicked sedentary because I have an office job. But I walk 3 times a day at work, on my breaks and at lunch, and then work out everyday at home, so maybe I should put that down as lightly active instead?
-
Sure was fun, when I saw I was at 163.4 yesterday and 162.6 today. I love seeing it go down. Only 18 pounds to go.
-
ok thanks. Yup, I'm using trend weight.

I am not sure Rabbit, what you are getting at, after reading that post about weight loss isn't linear I do understand about the fluctuations. I just had a big fluctuation of a loss the last two days. I am also measuring my food more concise. So I believe that helps. I learned not to get upset if my weight goes up again…
-
So since I have been measuring all my food and staying not going below my sodium intake I have managed to lose 1.6 lbs in 2 days.
-
OK, so I tried an experiment and logged my exercises into fitbit. They did transfer over to mfp. I think yesterday I was kind of lazy, so mfp took away some of my fitbit adjustment numbers. Another thing I don't understand
-
I was at around 4000
-
lose weight, sedentary, negative adjustment, 1/lb a week.
-
See I am still confused even after reading all this. Ok, I log 30 minutes of weights in fitbit with a calorie burn of 98, then I log 30 minutes of aerobics in fitbit with a calorie burn of 112. this all gets synced to MFP, but the calorie adjustment only shows 83. This is where my confusion comes into play. So my calorie…
