Can I ask what you eat daily? I am trying 1300 calories a day, all healthy with good amouts of macros, and I still feel SO hungry. I am sure this is all in my head but I hate feeling like I'm hungry all the time. I know that nutritionally, I am meeting my body's needs but my brain feels starved.

Oh my you sound just like me! Night time is the worst! I think some of it is from changing hormone levels as the evening progresses and being more tired. I have noticed that I am continually more hungry when I don't get enough sleep. I have to really force myself to not over-eat at night and I eat less throughout the day…

Yes this, except change the beer to rum.

Feel free to add me! This is a tough journey! It's nice to have support.

I'm mid 30's. Feel free to add me! I need ti lose about 25 more pounds this is so tough! I love food so much.

This is how I am too. Exactly how I am!

Yes, work can be the worst. I work in healthcare and I swear we are the worst examples! So much junk food! The temptation is so hard to turn down when it comes to yummy but unhealthy foods!

Hi Crystal! Do you have a specific diet plan to lose weight or are you just kind of 'winging it' to see how it goes? I too, am trying to lose weight. I am also trying to eat healthier and less processed foods along this journey. This is a tough road for sure!

I am a binge eater. My brain likes my stomach to feel very full at all times. Even as I start digesting what I just ate, my brain wants me to replace that amount in my stomach. I do good with trying to eat healthier and healthy amounts for awhile by keeping track in MFP but then I seem to go back to my old, unhealthy…

What is your specific mug? I like hot soup in the winter too! :-)

How were they prepared?? I dont like brussel sprouts but maybe I just don't like how I have tried them.

You cant take care of others in the longrun if you don't take care of yourself. You've got this!!!
-
Aww. I can't imagine how difficult this must be for you but I think it's awesome that you have taken this step in your journey! :) I hope that you keep working toward your goals. Im sorry that I don't have any great motivational advice as that is my downfall but I'm rooting for ya! :)

Ahh yes I am the same way. My coworkers make fun of me for how much i can eat...and I am ALWAYS eating. I'm on here trying to eat healthier but it is so tough when I really feel like im starving ALL THE TIME. I'm just now trying to get back to this and hunger is by far the worst. If you find anything that helps you besides…

I look like Shrek. Is that considered good looking? Haha

Great! Keep up the hard work!

I, too, am a frequent relapser. I am hoping that I don't go back to old ways this time and keep working at being consistently healthy. It's tough but being unhappy with myself is harder. :/
-
Yay! I waited until 1/5/16 to start because I was a slacker but now I seem to be on the right track.
-
Yay!!! You've got this!!! 1 day at a time! :)

How do you stay within your calorie goal this way? Is it just smaller portion sizes or trying to choose healthy things when you can? Just wondering because now that I am doing good with staying in my goal when i make the meals, I'm worried about when other people cook or we go out to eat. I've come so far that I don't want…

I plan my breakfasts & lunches ahead but keep them very consistent with lots of fruits, veggies, and protein so I don't have to put much thought into those. My dinner and night snack varies a little more but I still try to plan those by lunchtime to keep my meals balanced and near my goals for the day. Sometimes I plan all…

My biggest apologies. I did not see that. :-(

So agree!!! The husband is welcome to change his diet and increase his exercise level instead of making his wife feel bad. He is the person, of all people, should be encouraging her in nice and polite ways!
-
Doesn't make it right but your girl is probably just afraid to lose you because other girls may start to give you more attention now. Let her knowthat you only want her but that you intend to stick with what you are doing such as diet and exercise. :-) Good luck. Relationships are hard.

It is better for you and your body if you eat 3-4 similar calorie meals each day to help keep the body's levels of ghrelin and leptin in check, the hunger and satiety hormones. Also to keep the metabolism elevated.

Same with me! Though you are doing more cardio than I am. I have only been doing 20 min 5 days a week. Maybe I should increase? I think what you are doing sounds like a good, healthy amount. Weight loss is such a slow process.
-
Yay that you're alive! Will you have cardiac rehab? If not, follow the doctors orders strictly. They have several walking dvds or videos on YouTube. I'm sure the doctor and nurses already gave you instructions on a heart healthy diet. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Totally agree. I had a problem with my fitbit Zip and they replaced it.
