I've never made my own, but just dropping the boiled eggs in the left over dill pickle juice or pickled beet juice brings the eggs to a whole new level. YUM

@dsams774 You are starting almost exactly where I started (5'5" and 247 lbs) on 12/12/15 I started the ketogenic diet and have lost 45+ lbs since then. I'm never hungry and wasn't required to exercise this 70 year old body either. :)

@PaleoInScotland I think a mile is wonderful! 3 months ago 80 feet left me out of breath and needing to sit down and rest. I can do 20 min on a treadmill now but not outdoors (???) Can't wait to do a mile.

I'm only 3 months in but have found that I need at least 4000 sodium and 500 magnesium daily or I WILL have leg and foot cramps in the morning. This was brought home to me this morning ... forgot my second BPB yesterday (wasn't hungry) which gave me only half my requirements for yesterday.

:) We all do occasionally. Sometimes just for a few hours and sometimes for days. One of the best parts of this way of eating is there's no problem starting again with no guilt.

This is exactly my outlook. I take potassium and thyroid meds ... one says take with food the other without. I take them both first thing in the a.m. so I don't forget either. No harm has come to me in the 2 years I've been doing this. Use whatever time works for you.

Morn: BPB (2 tsp bouillon pwdr, 1 Tbsp butter, 1 Tbsp MCT oil and 1 tsp mag citrate pwdr) Noon: 2 Egg omelet with 1 oz mushrooms and 1/2 tbsp salsa Eve: 6 Oz hamburger patty with sauted mushrooms Nite: another BPB Also had a gin gins (original chewy ginger candy) 20 cal and 5 carbs but oh so good!

@xazazelx you might call her and ask if anyone has mentioned that your doctor has recommended you refrain from eating grains and sugar. Some one at work has surely noticed and mentioned it to the rest!?!? Or maybe mention it to your boss.
