  • Carb loading is not necessary and normally slows your progress. Most people do it because on most diets you get some sort of cheat day and they really look forward to that. The longer you stay in ketosis the more weight you will lose.

  • I use the following calculator. https://keto-calculator.ankerl.com/ 20g of carbs .6g of carbs per lb of lean body mass. the rest fat. If you dont eat all the fat it is no big deal, you will just lose weight faster.

  • I look at it this way. Hit Your Protein Goal Don't Go Over Your Carb Goal The more you stay under your Fat Goal the Faster you will lose weight. Basically, your Carb and Protien Goals will not change unless your activity level changes. You just eat less fat up until you hit your goal weight, then you up your fat intake.
