I am new to keto. I lost 164 pounds a couple of years ago doing low carb but gained back 50 after a tragedy hit our family. I am trying to get back on the wagon and found Keto. I am Female, 52 years old, 5'5" tall and weigh 249. How do I set my Macros. Is there a Keto Calculator? Thanks

Plug all your info into this. That whole website is an incredible resource for those doing keto!
MFP is a little weird with the macro ratios - they include fiber in carbohydrate count, and then calculate percentage of total calories from carbohydrates based off of that - so if you're shooting for 10% net carbs, MFP will tell you you hit 10% (because of the fiber) when you're really only at say 7-8%. Meaning, you could have eaten more fibrous veggies and nuts and stuff and hit your macro targets.
Anyway, it's usually not a very big difference, but definitely keep an eye on Carbs - Fiber to determine where you're really at for a day.1 -
From everything I've researched and read and from the Dr, I follow the ratio is this for macros 5% carbs 20% protein and 75% fat try to stay under 20 grams of carbs per day. Good Luck. Here's a link that might help you.

I'll say! And the comment at the end of the day diary completion isn't very encouraging. When I think I'm adding a fat entry to get my macros better, it often tells me I will weigh more in 5 weeks if I keep eating like this. Not helpful

I use the following calculator.
https://keto-calculator.ankerl.com/
20g of carbs
.6g of carbs per lb of lean body mass.
the rest fat.
If you dont eat all the fat it is no big deal, you will just lose weight faster.0 -

Did you mean .6 grams protein (not carbs) per lb of lean body mass??
