I use some Anti-chafing gel (like Lanacane brand).

Big bowl of honey comb cereal & milk.

Update time: It's almost 4 years later... I quit drinking booze entirely for mental health reasons in April 2017. One side effect was losing more weight. Down to 202lbs by December 2017. Down almost 40lbs over 2 years! Almost to my goal! And then my mental health crashed in 2018.... Four months off work sick & minimal…

I can relate. I quit drinking (almost nightly) in April 2017 and lost 20lbs in the following 8 months. Drinking was often accompanied with snacking too. (Though I have since gained some of it back after a mental health episode.) Similar thing happened in 2005 when I switched from full sugar colas to diet colas, lost 25lbs…

Cinnamon raisin bagel with pumpkin seed butter and a glass of milk.

A big coffee or two every morning. Black, lightly sweetened. (Hate dairy or whitener in my coffee.) Add a diet cola or two in the afternoon. Once in a while I'll have tea.

I'm going through this as the moment. Alcoholism and addictions are common in my family. When I started noticing changes in my behaviour that were pointing to me having an unhealthy relationship with booze, I knew I had to quit. I wasn't an alcoholic yet, but I was seeing the signs that I was probably on my way there. I've…

Underwear or nothing.

Lately its often been a bagel, 2-3 eggs, & coffee. I do mix it up but coffee is the only constant.

With sugar or plain black. I've never liked coffee with dairy.

I've also got a 9-5 desk job. No gym in my current office building either. My office is 12km from home so I cycle to work. (It's actually faster than the bus in rush hour!) Easy to extend the ride when I have extra time. Can burn about 1000 calories a day that way.

I gave up on non-stick pans years ago before I even knew of the health concerns. The pans just wouldn't last. One scratch and the coating would start flaking off.

Lunch if most often leftovers. I used to bring a lunch with 1 or 2 snacks. But I found my snack choices were lacking in protein. Granola bars & fruit mostly. (Or junk from the vending machine in the afternoon if I ate all my snacks in the morning.) Last week I changed my eating habits a bit to eat 5 relatively equal…

Pasta. Lots of carbs. At least for me, it's easy to eat lots of it.

Personally, I've never done the OHP in a cage/rack. I just powerclean the weight and lift. There's no reason to do rows in the powercage since you're lifting them off the ground. If you fail to the point of dropping the weights, it'll just fall on the floor. No safety pins needed.

The only cleaning or maintenance task I've ever bother to log is snow shoveling.

That rack used to retail for under $500US new. http://www.overstock.com/Sports-Toys/Apex-AX-PWR7-Cage-System/4401286/product.html

Cycle to work Monday to Friday. Anywhere from 40km to 125km a week depending on office location. SL5x5 three times a week (I use the app to track) in my garage. A full day of paintball every three weeks or so.

Just echoing what others have already stated. I take my ring off when I lift weights.

Same here. I used to occasionally buy a can or bag of nuts/peanuts to keep at the office. And sure enough, I'd usually polish it off in a couple days.

We use ground beef all the time. Chili, lasagna, spaghetti sauce, shepherd's pie, meat pie (tourtière), tacos, burgers...
