  • North East Scotland calling! 👋🏻 Feel free to add me!
  • Good morning all, commiting this morning to continued abstinence for today. One meal at a time... have a blessed abstinent day folks 🙂
  • Commiting to abstinence this morning. Have a good day everyone 🌅
  • Good evening folks. Checking in after a few very busy days; some abstinent and others not so much. Yesterday and today have been better. Must continue to check in... it helps to keep me focused. Hope you all have/had a good abstinent day.
  • Commiting to an abstinent day today... just for today. One meal at a time, hour by hour. Sometimes it needs to be that real.
  • I’m the same daily fluctuations, sometimes .2 but anything up to 2 pounds from day to day (even when food and routine are similar form day to day). I stick to a once a week weigh-in at the same time of day every week, to avoid too much disappointment in fluctuations.
  • Evening check-in. Busy day at work, which has been abstinence. Small victory to share, a meeting with many trigger foods. Stuck to a flat white and left the rest... unheard of before programme. I’m grateful for the accountability and structure that my HP and programme brings today; step one I am powerless without them.…
  • I’d be up for a weekly challenge too, one step at a time! 🙂
  • Early morning commitment to an abstinent day, hand in hand with my HP. Following @SenchaJill s lead today - I’ve got time today for some meditation before I start my day. It will set me up right going forward. Have a good day 🌅
  • End of day check in. Abstinent day. Grateful for my attendance at a meeting tonight too. Hope you guys had/have a good day.
  • Commiting to a new day today (at lunch time, better late than never!). Commiting to abstinence, just for today. One meal at a time, a new beginning... thanks @SenchaJill.
  • End of day check in. Not been a great day. Two snacks, that weren’t in my food plan for the day; still under total cals for the day but unplanned none the less. Stressing over impending workload tomorrow. Time to rebalance ... Hope you guys have a good day.
  • Good morning folks, commiting to abstinence, just for today.... I’m going to go swimming and walk with a friend here in a very blowy Aberdeen. Have a blessed abstinent day with ur HP today. 🌅
  • Good morning from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 , quiet time this morning focusing on programme for a time before starting a new day 🌅, setting me off on the right foot to abstinence... have good day folks.
  • End of day check in... also an abstinent day and grateful to have handed some testing events over to my HP. Good evening folks... heading to bed now.
  • Can identify with this Winodini! Trying to get creative with extra long hikes with the dog, getting the kids involved in some fun time workouts too. I find my gym excuses are more plentiful when I’ve had an emotionally draining day. Some days I let messed off with it, others I push through and say even 20mins is better…
  • Peace out ✌🏻

  • Advice, hmmmm.... Maybe make sure that the MFP way of life is engrained in your routine as you move towards graduation and employment. Stick to it daily as you progress through stressful times and lean on your friends when u feel the urge to splurge on calories. Best of luck friend.

  • Thanks for your encouraging words @gnarlykickflip! Good to hear ur story too. Will keep going!
  • Yeah, this! I am the same. When I started out I was more obsessed with food than ever - because I was breaking bad habits. I found the thoughts went away when I was truly full, so I upped my protein (keeps you fuller for longer) and I made sure I was drinking a LOT of water! Keep going, it will pass.[/quote] Thanks for…
  • Good point, there is a difference Need2ExErc1se. However, I do feel hungry between meals if I'm particularly active, (which can I assume is normal?) and usually have a piece of fruit or something to 'tide me over' till the next meal at these times. The 'urge' is there perhaps two or three times out with normal mealtimes,…
