Focus on eating wholesome sources of protein. If and only if you cant hit your macros then get protein powder. Sunwarrior protein is an excellent source of plant derived protein.

Pre-workouts are simply designd to produce focused bouts of physical activity. Think coffee and how focused it makes you feel. As per hitting your daily macros it must fall under how many "calories" you consume per day.

I agree with arditarose. Focus on eating whole sources of food. Drink plenty of h2o and work your butt off!!

Well sounds like you lack discipline. Im not sure how much food is "enough" for you since I dont know your body composition parameters. Tip...drink lots of pure h2o :)
