I got my Nike Tom Tom Sport refurbished off eBay for less than half price. Works like a champ. Came in original packaging and everything.

I have the same challenge! I have found a couple of things that help, I'm not there 100% with this yet though. First tactic if I decide I'm going to allow myself to snack after dinner is I pick out my after dinner snacks the day before, and allow a few hundred calories (c'mon, if you're gonna do it, do it right yeah?) then…

0.67 averaged out. Though that includes my last month which got a bit wobbly... I added 6lbs on holiday and also by loosening my death like grip on the food scale before/after the holiday.

Heart rate monitor chest strap fell down to my hips during a run!
-
Presumably you're fueling during the run with some gels or chews...? 20 miles would be a long run to not supplement with some carbs along the way. I like a glass of chocolate flavored milk, or a peanut butter/honey/raisin sandwich.

I plan to get down to my goal weight, then have a rule that I start logging if/when I ever get 5lbs over that. I'll weigh once a week at the same time to keep an eye on things.

I actually don't snack when I drink (at least not any more than normal), but for me the beer/wine/cider was just empty calories and I don't miss it at all. I'd rather 'spend' my calories on food :)

So THAT'S what it is called! Same thing happens to me. Nothing for a couple of weeks, then 2-4 pounds in a few days. Pounds that stay off too!

This exactly plus a tablespoon of flax meal. Sometimes do raspberries or blackberries too.

I am the opposite and need to increase my sodium. I am usually between 800 and 1200mg/day. Since I am a runner I have to be conscious to keep my salt intake up as I lose so much through sweat. I basically live on brown rice, quinoa, fresh veggies, meat, whole fat dairy, and beans/legumes. Prepare everything from scratch,…

I love them!!! White choc raspberry, double choc chunk, choc chip cookie dough, mint choc chip.... *heads to pantry*
-
Man, I did the same kind of thing yesterday, was over my calorie budget by 1,500. Jumped on the scales today to assess the damage.... No difference. Just keep on trucking!
-
Do you cut the fat off and eat the fat alone? Because that would be an acceptable reason to cut the fat off.

Made this on Monday and it was delish: http://pinchofyum.com/easy-mexican-chicken-quinoa-casserole

Wireless power beats. Got them off eBay refurbished for much cheaper than retail.

Well, I know that I have to be more conscious of it now that I'm in my thirties. When I was in my twenties I drank like a sailor, ate like a glutton, and partied like an animal. Paid absolutely no mind to what I ate though I was extremely active so it probably didn't really matter. I have no idea what my body fat would…

Don''t worry about it! I just discovered something pretty incredible this morning. As a background, last week (week of Feb 22) I had to take the whole week off from an exercise standpoint thanks to a medical issue. Just easing back in to exercise this week. Last week I simultaneously was a little more lax with what I ate,…

No, but that would be a nice addition, and maybe some cocoa too!

Just want to throw it out there that I understand what you're saying, and I think you raise some great points. I think I know that on some level, eating an equivalent serve of banana is going to be all around more nutritious than ice cream, and I know that my body operates much better on the fuel from a banana than it does…

Ohhhhhh, now I know what I've been doing wrong! I'll have to give all my 5K prizes back then. Couldn't have been real wins.
-
It's probably my guilt that weighs 10 pounds. And that's being conservative. ;)
-
Well, it wasn't organic. So I guess I'll wake up tomorrow with an additional 10 pounds. Dang it. Ha!
-
I'm thinking I'm going to crush a couple of Girl Scout Thin Mints and mix them in with my vanilla ice cream tonight... Mmmmmm

If your aim is to improve your health and fitness, no you are not a slow runner. Just keep beating your own PBs. You're in a great spot to set a really awesome goal for yourself - break the 30 min barrier! If you want to be on the Olympic team and head on down to Rio on a few months, yeah you'd be slow by comprison. So…
-
Actually, I do it completely the other way around: I blend fresh bananas with the half and half, measure each serving out into a Tupperware container, add the PB, then I freeze a bunch of servings all at once. Then I just pull em out, ready to go, whenever I feel like it. No need to worry about frozen skins, and you only…

I'll have to respectfully disagree with you here, this was the most astonishing thing to me and triggered me to make this post in the first place - the nutritional profile is not so different at all! Really, we're talking about very small differences here. Believe me, I was surprised. Also, regarding icky additives and bad…

Oh my goodness, this is the most adorable thing I've seen all day! I can haz moar kitteh GIFs? P.S. I just came back from my run to find one of my cats licking out my greek yoghurt tub that I stupidly left on my desk after I finished it. Bad kitty parent.

Oh man, I honestly think that there are teams of posters on here that make it their daily routine to go and post the same cookie cutter info on any thread they can find. The funniest is when I see some of these responses added where it doesn't really make sense. *Dramatization* OP: "how can I improve my 5k time?" MFP…

Nah it's all good. I just get tired of the zombies on here spewing out the same rhetoric over and over again, whether it is warranted or not. On to the next!

Only question I asked was this one. Feel free to answer if you wish.
