Every 8 pounds is a 1 gallon jug of water at the supermarket. Imagine those each tied to your belt by a string bouncing around all day. I want them gone!

I am calculating the walking calories burned via the Map my Walk app. It is linked here and whatever map my walk decides, it updates on MFP. I hope MMW is accurate.

Reaching your goal must be pretty rewarding in itself but I wonder, like you guys have stated, what the long term mental issues that come from an almost OCD calorie counting nature like I have will be like after reaching the goal weight? Right now I am pretty obsessed with watching my calories and trying to exercise.…

Thanks everyone for the help. The thing is I have high blood pressure so I don't want to overdo it. I used to lift when I was younger then took up residence in cheezit-ville since 24-40. Now I want to just get back to who I was and am trying to dedicate myself. Are there any weight lifting routines for people with high…

When you say "Eat less than you burn." Do you mean I should eat 1500 calories and burn 1600? Wouldn't that give me -100 calories for the day and be really bad since I would be starving myself? Right now I am giving myself a 1500 calorie a day limit and am a bit under that food wise. I have been power walking for 1 hour.…
