I was just trying to get a somewhat accurate not to thin target/goal number. Nothing more than that. 180 is what I picked initially. Before I would just eat anything without thinking about it at all. If I craved something, I would eat it. Now it's a conscious choice. I think about how many calories is that. What are the nutrients. I eat some of them back if I feel like snacking. Not all the time but I'd say 40% of the time I eat half back. I tell ya, a little bit of OCD develops when counting calories like this. It seems a bit helpful in a way.

I've lost 76 pounds doing absolutely nothing but walking 4 to 5 times a week. Anywhere from 3 to 7 miles roughly 4 to 4.5mph. If I were to walk any faster, I would be in a slow jog. Self control was the hardest for me. Walking through market baskets bakery or an italian bakery was brutal. But I can safely say that I can now control the urge which was impossible before. Now I look at the weight I've lost and work put in. I do not want to throw it all away. I'm in this to the finish.

Yeah but how big did the trainer really get? He didn't put on THAT much weight, I mean he looked a bit heavier. It isn't nearly the mental weight that a really overweight person carries. I mean, he did it for the show. He knew it was coming off. He was heavy but nothing like being really obese. It makes for good TV though…

Ok good. I was also just wondering from a, I guess science standpoint, of how the body processes food. Would it be better to kick start the metabolism with a large breakfast and then a ok lunch and then a light dinner. Wonder how your metabolism works in that regard.
