It took me two years to lose 110 pounds. I was 297 and I want to get to 165. I don't care how long it takes and when I get there I will still track my foods as I add back foods to maintain my weight. In the past that was my problem not adding back foods slowly to maintain. I just went back to eating the way I did and not…

Welcome and you are absolutely right! If we don't track we can actually forget what we eat and how much. I have lost 110 pounds and I couldn't do it without tracking everything I eat even my cheats. o:)

For the past 6 months I have been out of control in the evenings so I make that the biggest meal of the day now and seems to be working for now. I usually feel bad when it comes to weighing and I see I took some steps back and it is very discouraging to think I have to get those off again. Trying to have more self control…

The soul of eating clean is consuming food the way nature delivered it, or as close to it as possible. It is not a diet; it’s a lifestyle approach to food and its preparation, leading to an improved life – one meal at a time.

It takes 3500 calories to make a pound. If you show a 1 or 2 lbs up the next day it is usually water retention probably from too much sodium.

Gibbsy21 I tell myself, THINK ! What is the alternative if you don't do it. I don't want to be 297 lbs ever again. I have lost over 100 lbs in two years and it is struggle but you have to keep going if if you mess up one day just move on. My knees ached, my back ached and clothes looked lousy. Nothing in plus sizes…

When you reach a certain age your skin will not shrink back and become smooth and firm as your youth. I have lose over 100 lbs and I am 69 and have loose skin all over. I look really good in clothes so I don't care. The only one that is going to see my loose skin is my doctor and the undertaker. :)

You don’t actually “lose” fat cells, you “shrink” or “empty out” fat cells because the fat inside is used for energy. Any fat that is used makes the cell shrink but the fat cell is always there waiting to fill up and increase in size if you overeat your calorie input. They don't move but you can add more elsewhere.

I was 150 lbs overweight and it took me 25 lbs before I started to fit into smaller clothes. Most of my weight was around my hips, legs and belly.

I had lost 124 lbs in 2 years and still have about 30 more to go. For the past 6 months I have been cheating at night even after having a good dinner and a nighttime snack. I feel it like it is binging as I eat until I am really full.

I read your brain can't tell the difference between artificial sweeteners and regular sweeteners. They say it still causes cravings. When I cheat and have sugar or even stevia I find myself wanting something with added sweetener for days. It is really hard to break the cycle again. I think I will try some whole grain carbs…

Anything that accumulates from improper eating. I know the body does a good job doing this but we can help sweep it out with a cleanse. B)

Fasting is good for you once in a while. It gives your system a rest and cleans things out especially if you are using good juices, by that I mean fresh squeezed no sugary store bought junk. What kind of juice did you do? I have done fast in the past and yesterday I made a spinach, kale, celery, carrot juice. Strong to…

I took it for over 6 months. I never had the side effects which can be tingling hands and feet which someone said her doc told her to eat bananas, kidney stones if you don't drink enough water. I was up to 200 mg a day and it never worked as an appetite suppressant. Wean off real slow as the side effects they say are…

I agree but no one will ever see it they just see how great I look in smaller clothes. That is fine with me. My face is a little more gaunt but no one ever mentions it they always say how great I look. I have less pain in my knees and the only one that will see my body is my doctor and the undertaker. LOL
