Some of these things have helped me tremendously as well. Journaling, seeing a therapist and opening up about things, logging food, and allowing for indulgences. I also work in a clinic with my RD friends who know that I binge, so they watch out for me-- especially when I'm depressed or anxious (since that's when I notice…

Correct. Vitamins A, D, E, K are fat soluble so they can cause problems in excess. The rest are water soluble so you pee them out if there is too much. There has been back and forth data on supplements such as Emergen-C and kidney problems, but vitamin C from food sources should be fine.

You can weigh them before eating, weigh the bones after eating, subtract, and then use the entry for ribs-meat only like @rosebarnalice does. That's what I've heard most often.

What are kiwiberries and where do you buy those?

I prefer non chain restaurants, but PF Chang has Buddhas Feast which is about 300-400 calories.

Haha the black toenail. If I was fit, I can't imagine wanting to get fat so I could go back to fit again. It tires me thinking about it, actually.

I thought I was doing good with one sleeve back in the day. Haha.

If you haven't watched "Fed Up" on Netflix, do so now. It addresses the sugar and sugar substitutes. Basically, our body produces more insulin and we crave more food. Our body expects sugar because of receptors in our brains. I use real sugar and real butter. A little bit of it. I do not like the taste of fake "butter".…

You're counting the grams of the chicken, and getting confused. You should be counting the grams of protein in the chicken. Let's say you are eating chicken and there is 20 g protein in the chicken. Since there are 4 calories in each gram of protein or carbohydrate, you will have consumed 80 calories from protein. If there…

I recommend Fair Life milk. It is ultra-filtered milk, so 13 g pro/cup. I prefer it over regular milk and it is lactose free, without tasting like nasty Lactaid. It also has a longer shelf life than regular milk, no rBST, lower sugar, and more calcium. To the chocolate flavor, I will add a Tbsp of PB or PB2 (depending on…

Make sure you are cooking in bulk. Frozen fruits and veggies. Large bags of rice and beans. Buy seasonal, and at the farmer's market if you have one. I live on $60 every two weeks for groceries. I will sometimes eat the same meal for three days straight. You can eat pretty much whatever, but your portions may have to be…

Thank you for making the chart. Its nice to have a guide for times when I'm away from my scale!

I think Indian cuisine is great for vegetarian foods. Saag paneer. Chana saag. Vada pav. Kale pakoras. Dal. My good friend labels herself "flexatarian" as well. She eats about 3 oz of meat a week.

I can't speak for everywhere, but in GA and TN there are "weight loss clinics" where you can get the drugs. I have found that chiropractors are usually the ones prescribing at these places. That's just my experience, though. The dude told me to eat low carb, drink water, and take the pills.

I work with a lot of diverse ladies. My favorite has been with a can of mixed veggies and mayonnaise on a tostada, and Valentina hot sauce on top. Sounds gross, but it is pretty deliciosa.

I love "Half Size Me" podcasts.

Oopsies! Well, nobody is posting here anyway. Post fail

Looks like @sabrinasmith7 has found the true meaning of this post. Haha.

Did you post the same thing @pie_eyes? I'm watching some weird show called Second Chance.

I like 8oz Fair Life chocolate and 2 tbsp Krema peanut butter with ice @Hornsby As a vegetarian, Fair Life helps A LOT!

And bread flour is more powdery. Self-rising has leavening already added.

I really want Publix Raspberry Elegance cake. But I'm out of kcals.

In the US, they are pork rinds... And they are yummy

Yuck! Seitan?

From my many classes in foods and nutrition, marinades usually don't many calories to the food. What is absorbed is usually cooked off. I would add maybe 25-50 calories for safety, but that is it. They're a really smart way to add flavor (and help to prevent cancer-causing heterocyclic amines). Remember that, even though…

______________________________________________________________________________ I said, "I guess it depends on the amount you are needing to lose. If you only want to lose 20-30lbs, why not do it without medication?" I did not accuse her of needing to lose 20-30lbs, I was making a general statement. Apparently, plenty of…

Lofty goal. It is probably doable, but is that the only dress you want? When would you have to be able to fit into the dress in order to have time for alterations? I would buy a food scale, and just stick to the -2lb/wk plan on here. Make sure to exercise. I don't know that anyone can tell you what size containers to use…

I just bought vegan protein powder today, as well.

Bahaha. I don't know if we are ignoring this comment, or it is just a lot funnier to me.
