Just add some honey or flavoured protein powder and low fat cottage cheese tastes rather like a nice dessert.

Or just order from any number of perfectly good websites such as myprotein, Cardiff sports nutrition, the protein works (I don't know which country you're from, OP) and don't pay through the nose at Holland and Barrett where everything comes with a ridiculous mark up because their branding is considered premium.

Everything, lovely women are lovely.

Generally on a high fat diet it should be easier to eat plenty because fat is more than double the calories per gram than carbs and protein. Drizzling olive oil onto food, cooking stuff in butter, adding unsweetened cocoa and double cream to coffee, enjoying some dark chocolate with peanut butter and adding cheese to…

I'm sure I will be corrected if required, but from my own experience and what I have filtered out from the pure BS online, for your core things like deadlifts, squats, pull/chin ups and overhead presses are very good because they require your core to be stable and work most of your body in one go. Of course whether your…

The only way you could really ruin your metabolism is if you died. So if you're alive and not posting from beyond the grave, you're probably fine.

You definitely don't look like you're going to hurt me.

Plateau is a buzzword which gets used far too easily. I get the impression people who are desperate for an easy answer see that word, look up its meaning and 'self diagnose'. Most of the time, it really is just people eating more than they realise. The good thing about that is it's so simple to correct this rather than…

Yeah, weight loss slows down the leaner you get. Losing 0.5 lbs a week is good if weight loss is your continued aim.

Eat whatever you want in moderation, including plenty of food that provides the nutrients that aid good health, and food that provides more feelings of joy than nutrients if you so desire. Don't restrict anything you really want, eating healthy means healthy for the mind as well as the body.

With dips it usually stings a bit at first, then second or third set I'm a lot better. Will shoulders get enough overload from bench pressing to increase strength and size? I'm pretty lean already, not clearly defined abs lean, but close. Thanks.

If you track it for the purpose of making it fit into your daily/weekly calories, it isn't a cheat meal.

I just wanted to say that I feel this is a special moment coming across one of the few people who is gluten free and actually has celiac disease.

I had the cereal with semi-skimmed milk. I've had what would be defined as a 'food coma' before, thing is I've had carbs like oats with peanut butter and whey before as well to answer suggestions of pairing it up with fat and protein but same outcome. It's a bit annoying when I read up on pre-workout nutrition and it's the…

We weren't friends, I hope this helps with the process of elimination.

Daenerys. That dog is one of the dragons.

You might be able to help me where my doctor refuses to. If I eat carbs like cereal, oats, pasta I feel very drained and sleepy. If I eat carbs from bananas I feel fine and if I have a rush of blood (this happens often) having a banana stops that pretty instantly. Have you ever heard of anything like this? Also coffee…

Only people who have good things to say about Herbalife are those making money from it or have recently handed over money for it and don't want to feel like they've just wasted it. OP, if that's what they told you to have to build muscle they have lied to you. They should have told you to find a training program that…

If by mature you mean mundane and unlikely to do anything idiotic, I'm 33 and pretty much that. So we do exist, says me, the self appointed spokesman for all mundane 30+ year old males.

If it's any consolation I'm at a slim weight but I'd be too uncomfortable about myself to want to have sex with anyone. If I had the choice I mean. I guess the lesson is self-esteem and weight loss are not necessarily linked. So working on how you feel about yourself now might be best so you aren't waiting for it to catch…

This is why whenever I'm having pizza I always insist on having it as late as possible.

It's not the first or second time this has happened. And yes.

I am quite aware of this. That is why I said bananas don't tire me, if I wasn't aware bananas didn't have carbs in them (who doesn't know that?) I wouldn't have felt the need to point out they do not tire me. Read it as 'Carbs tire me, except bananas'. Please.

I wish my town had a battery store.

No, I usually have a couple of bananas with peanut butter for breakfast. Bananas don't tire me at all, infact they seem to have an instant effect if I'm ever feeling dizzy. I'd take the whole naturally being tired at night, but I was wide awake before I had the cereal and then suddenly asleep within minutes.

How much are you eating? Do you know exactly? Are you measuring and weighing everything? Are you avoiding using generic data like '1 banana' and actually weighing things that come in different shapes and sizes? Are you eating back exercise calories burnt? If so, are you certain those calories are correct given most…

I must look really attractive whenever I'm in a store then.

Knowing the problem is a huge first step, getting into new habits is a huge second step, from then on it's much easier.
