"Frames" is bro science.

Sooooooo much bro science in this thread. Weigh/measure your calorie intake accurately and stay within your caloric allowance to lose weight. End of.

So much *facepalm* in this thread. Any movement burns calories. Not only intentional *exercise*. Not to mention activity that leaves one hot and sweaty. That is the mistake so many people on MFP makes. They think only 'exercise' counts. OP, I logged all cleaning when I was trying to lose weight. I halved the time it took…

I'll be 11 weeks PP tomorrow.

I, too, thought I'm pear-shaped. But only until I lost weight.

I took a 6-month break from lifting and only resumed it at 36 weeks. I quickly got back on track and lifted until I was 40 or 41 weeks along. I gave birth at 42 weeks, I'm 10 weeks PP today, and I started lifting today. You needn't deload if you don't feel it's necessary. Listen to your body and smash your personal bests…

Thank you! The crazy thing is I'm still not tracking my food intake. Breastfeeding gives me an insane deficit. So insane that I can eat whatever I want and still lose weight. How are you doing, @VeryKatie ?

What Aggelikik said! I only gained 12kg during my 42 week pregnancy. And I'm 700g away from my pre-pregnancy weight at 9 weeks post-partum. She should really not gain more than 15kg max.
-
PCOS does not cause weight gain; ci > co causes weight gain. Maintain a decent caloric deficit and you WILL lose weight.
-
Do you have abdominal separation?
-
I'm 9 weeks PP today and I'm hoping to lift again on Wednesday. I started exercising intentionally about 1.5 weeks ago. Prior to that babywearing and constantly walking up and down our stairs were my only forms of exercise. I'm 1kg away from my pre-pregnancy weight. Breastfeeding us AMAZEBALLS ;)
-
Good luck!
-
I'm not so sure you need to take in more calories to breastfeed successfully. I'm still losing weight at 9 weeks PP (1kg away from pre-pregnancy weight) and my supply is better than ever because I'm feeding on demand.
-
You need only feed on demand to keep a good milk supply. Nothing else. I'm 1kg away from my pre-pregnancy weight at 9 weeks PP and my supply is insane.

Losing a ton of weight in a short period is not necessarily unhealthy or unsustainable. It just depends on HOW you go about it. Are you fasting to lose weight? Or are you counting calories and eating real food? Are you learning how to eat for the rest of your life or are you only interested in short-term weight loss?
-
My milk supply is through the roof! I'm feeding on demand and my little girl is verrry demanding ;)
-
I'm breastfeeding so... I can kinda eat ALL THE FOOD and still lose weight. But I'm not tracking at the moment.

Thank you but I think it's coming off a bit too fast... I'm worried about my supply dwindling from losing too much weight in a very short period. I'm breastfeeding and I'm carrying her around in a wrap or a buckled carrier. I might start…

I lift, I hike steep mountains, I walk, and I climb the stairs a number of times a day because we live in a 2-floor apartment :) And I'm 39+1 today!
