My weight loss has been stalling for the last two weeks or so as I've only lost 0.1kg and that was after I'd cut back down to 2000 calories to see if it'll make a difference. It could of course be that I'm ovulating and I'm retaining water. We'll see by next week.

I'm 5''3.5 and I lose a pound a week on 1200 calories sooooooooo y'all should obviously eat fewer calories to effect the same weight loss BUTTTTTT MFP won't allow that because it assumes everyone's of average height AT LEAST.

I'm 4 months post-partum and 2kg under my pre-pregnancy weight. I am breastfeeding on demand 24/7 and THAT is the secret of maintaining a healthy milk supply. Even the skinniest moms manage to breastfeed.
-
I only gained 12kg during my 42-week pregnancy and I gave birth to a 3.78kg baby girl. My breastmilk supply is fantastic because I am feeding on demand 24/7, not because I'm fat. I'm actually 2kg below my pre-pregnancy weight at 4 months post-partum.

Our bodies do not "hold onto" fat reserves while we're nursing. You need to create a caloric deficit to lose weight. Eat at maintenance and you'll lose weight as breastfeeding creates the deficit.
-
I'm exclusively breastfeeding my 4-month-old and I'm losing about 500g to 1kg a week while eating upwards of 2500 calories a day. I'm 1.63m tall and I weigh 63kg.
-
I'm 5" 3.5 and my starting weight was 76kg and I lost 500g a week on 1200 calories so...depending on your starting weight may need to eat fewer calories for the same weekly weight loss.
-
Just boob as much as possible. I'm still losing weight at nearly 4 months post-partum and am now lighter than pre-pregnancy. All of this is thanks to breastfeeding on demand 24/7
-
You can literally lose all your baby weight and more by breastfeeding on demand 24/7 ;)
-
12kg. I lost it all by 10 weeks post-partum and am now 2kg under my pre-pregnancy weight of 64kg at 15 weeks post-partum.
-
Breastfeeding! Seriously, though, the best strategy is one where you end up burning more calories than what you take in.
-
I used to think I had a "pear-shaped" figure. It turned out that I was just overweight. My body naturally became more of an "hourglass" shape after having lost the excess weight.
-
You're hungry because you are not eating back your exercise calories. Eat at least half of it back and you will feel less hungry.
-
I lost 12kg in 4 months last year then I fell pregnant and picked up 12kg. I lost that 12kg and 1.6kg extra within 14 weeks.
-
Oh hellllllll no!

Well done, ladies! I'm one of those unicorns who lose weight by breastfeeding. I'm weighing in at 62.3kg at 14.5 weeks post-partum while my pre-pregnancy weight was 64kg. My goal is to weigh 58kg.

There's nothing wrong with snacking if it fits into your caloric allowance. I used to snack on vegetables and diet jelly when I was actively trying to lose weight.
-
More, @islandrgurl808 ;) I'm eating wayyyyy more than 2000 calories a day yet I'm still losing weight. My non-breastfeeding maintenance calories are 1600 a day. I'm losing, on average, 1kg a week even though I'm not trying. I'm just breastfeeding like crazy 24/7

You are either overestimating calorie burn or underestimating calorie intake. Or both.
-
You can totally lose weight in this post-partum period. Just set your weight loss goal to "maintenance" and be very honest in your tracking. I've lost all the baby weight and more at 14 weeks PP. I'm now 1.4kg under my pre-pregnancy weight and my milk supply is amazing. Just boob as much as possible.
-
Y'a just need to nurse on demand to keep a good milk supply. I am boobing 24/7 and I have a tremendous supply even though I'm now, at 14 weeks PP, 1.4kg under my pre-pregnancy weight. I've lost 13.6kg.
-
Are you boobing exclusively? On demand? 24/7? @janegal88 ?
-
It's not "breastfed hormones"; you're not in a caloric deficit.
-
Trust the Myfitnesspal process. Do as @SusanMFindlay suggests. Be very honest and track accurately. I'm 13 weeks post-partum and already 900g lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight.
-
Try to eat at maintenance. The weight WILL melt off you because the breastfeeding is your caloric deficit.
