http://allyscooking.com/2017/02/26/healthy-greek-chicken-meal-prep-bowls/ I made these three weeks ago when I first even tried prepping. It was so amazing to have a prepared delicious meal!!! The salad is especially good, and I brined and baked the chicken in a foil tent to keep it moist. Last week I swapped the Greek…

Awesome! I have two kids under 4. I'm down 8 lbs, but I have a long way to go (I'd love to lose another 38-43 lbs). It would be great to have the support.

I'm sorry if this is an obnoxious question. I often see people from the UK talking about their weight in "stones". What does that mean?
-
Don't worry about it! You can try wearing it backwards or to the side so its less "dad at disney land" lol. It's admirable that you are trying to be organized, and at least its not a murse!

Its not worth it. You have such a long streak going. Keep it up! It would be really sad to see you have to put 1 by LNS.

Hey! I just found this group and I think its an awesome challenge... because I pretty much suck at night eating. I love love love to stay up late and watch netflix with my hubby and CHOW DOWN! I've been replacing some of my go-to snacks with skinny girl popcorn and trying to budget some calories so I can still eat some…

Thanks! Yea I just disconnected it. I still use it to track exercise calories.. and then I add them to MFP. I normally get less calories from my fitbit than MFP, so I feel like it is more accurate. It is still cool and I still feel pretty motivated even if some steps are from dishes and laundry folding..lol... it may not…

Thanks! That helps a lot you guys.

I hear of people doing it. One lady actually ate at an incredible calorie deficit during the week (1200 cal/day) and then going nuts on the weekends. I think she got a lot of heat on mfp for messing with her metabolism. My sister maintains her weight that way. I really can't go off the plan for the weekends... cause I will…

this thread is very motivating! Thanks for everyone who is sharing. I'm yo-yoing a lot with diet, so my weight has not been consistently going down, but I have been working out regularly and even though my weight has not changed dramatically I still can tell that my body shape is changing. I'm also feel more comfortable in…

If you feel pretty comfortable with one of the hosts you could probably turn things down without insult or take just a little. That being said there are three sorts of plans that I can think of. You can use just one or a combo of these things. Plan 1: Chance it Try to make it work with what they are serving. This works…

wow!! this happened to me yesterday! I had like 14 floors.. and I live in a ranch.

Christine - I def think its wrong. I get that kind of extra calories with 10,000 or 12,000 steps (5ft, 5in, 214 lb, 29 yrs old) I'm starting to think it has to do with all the house work I do. We don't have a dishwasher, so I do a TON of dishes by hand. Last night I got from 9,500 to 10,000 steps... while I was standing in…

That sounds great Layama! It's good to meet you. I am really loving my fitbit. It is very motivating to be able to see everything you do. I did discover, however that it is counting me doing dishes as steps lately... not sure what to do with that, but I'm gonna figure it out!

Yes!

Well I re-read the post about adjusting my stride. I looked around for when I can adjust my stride in MFP. I don't see it. Maybe it's in the FitBit app?

I have a Charge HR. I will take a look at the accuracy stuff. I tried to look at it before and it was confusing.. lol.. i might be dumb or maybe I was tired. I'll try again.

I struggle hard with this one too. I'm working to get recipes together in a similar way. One of my favorites right now is spaghetti squash with marinara. The spaghetti squash cooks in the over for 40 minutes and comes out very spaghetti-like! Just grab some pre-made marinara of choice and meat of choice (ground turkey,…

Sounds awesome Molly! I'll friend you. I think my username for FitBit is just "Rachel"? I guess? I'm not really sure. I just started. Great job with the weight loss and the spin class! Keep that up! How many calories a day does your fitbit give you? Mine has been giving me between 2800-3200! This is shocking. I'm doing a…

Yup! I made a whole new account and everything. I'm starting fresh!

Thanks cd! I feel like the fitbit is really motivating. It gives me credit for all the mom/wife/professional running around I do that normally gets left out in the cold (how do you track calories burned while grocery shopping? chasing a toddler?) I feel like making a smaller goal might help me as well. Right now to get to…

I recommend exercise DVDs. I love zumba (like dance cardio) or TurboJam (like kickboxing/dance cardio)
-
I do log exercise through my fitbit. For example: I go to Zumba. I press and hold the button at the beginning and end of the class. If I put a workout in my fitbit it is automatically logged into my MFP account. I don't go log it again, so its not a duplicate. I weighed in this morning. I think I will give the fit bit…

hello everyone! I am a mom of two girls - a almost four year old and a one year old. I recently went from being the primary bread winner in my family to having a very part time job and being home with my girls the majority of the time. I'm feeling better about it recently, but I still struggle with being at home almost all…
