I’ve been wearing this whole week. Min steps was around 12000 max around 20000 depending on the day. Calories burnt are anywhere from 2300 to 2700!! I think I will try “active” setting for a while and see how I go. If I keep losing I might need to bump it up. Thanks for the advice 😀

Thanks AnnPT77 that’s very insightful. I am trying to maintain. Started tracking through MFP again as I have been losing a little weight of late and wanted to ensure I am eating enough!
-
Sleep, stress levels and nutrition are quite good.. could definately be drinking more though!! I don’t have an aggressive deficit at all and generally eat around 1900-2000 cal a day. Just curious as to why I am sore all of a sudden when nothing else has really changed
-
Hi all, thanks for the info Just to clarify - I never said I wasn’t going to log!! Just have my goals set at maintenance, am still logging everything to ensure I am not over eating... my maintenance calories are 1960 and the smallest deficit option (0.2kg per week) is around 1600 (which I can never stick to as I feel as…

Don’t worry honey, they’re probably not as bad as you think. I had the same thoughts when I was younger but trust me I have had no complaints 😉 your idea of what “nice” breasts look like is probably built off of pictures of models wearing push up bras and with boob jobs. Don’t stress - just embrace that’s how your body is

I am...

Thanks for the replies. My weight loss target is not very aggressive at all, just the last 2-3 kilos (some say vanity weight) only. When eating in deficit I always hit protein goals but still feel hungry and lack energy at the gym.
-
And another question sorry - do you have to eat the calories back that same day as I find I am often not as hungry on days where I do exercise. Would it make any difference if I ate them back the next day instead?
-
MFP is saying I would burn 496 cal per hour of circuit training. How accurate would this be.... this is why I am hesitant to log exercise as I don’t want to overestimate. Would it be safe to add a lower number - say 300 just in case?
-
1930 cal is the number MFP Has given me for maintenance. I lost about 3kg eating around 1600 and doing same exercise. I ate at maintenance on my exercise days when losing
-
Yes forgot to mention that! I am 25yo and at 135 lbs
-
Only wanted to lose around 5kg in total. Have lost 3.5 but happy here (was set to 0.5kg per week)- working on trying to build a bit of muscle now and tone.
-
Thanks for the replies everyone. I have been a little hungrier lately but this is the first time I have gave in. I am currently at my goal weight (but still not happy with how my body looks) have now been looking into re-composition but have no idea how to approach this- are you supposed to eat at a small deficit still or…

And OP I think you look great already!! Good luck with your fitness goals 😀
-
Just my opinion but I find it really annoying when people say “lift heavy things up and down”.... where did this come from? It seems like you are belittling the OP, sounds like something you would say to a toddler. Why not just say lift or strength training? They will know what you mean 😀

Been there. Take a break. It’s not worth it mentally sometimes Check out some of the responses on my thread from just last week https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10751282/anyone-else-tierd-of-logging#latest

This is my #1 lazy dinner!! Cook potato in the microwave then top with baked beans and cheese!! Yum 😋

Hi! I was a bit like you when I started gym, not knowing what I was doing or if I was doing correctly. I would suggest a group fitness class as everyone is doing the same thing and they all look as stupid as you lol🤣 it helped me a lot and the trainer I have is great with helping with technique and I also find group…

I have never met anyone else with ITP - I have been living with this off and on for a while. Extremely low platelet count (<10), bruising and fatigue. Treated with a form of steroids then fine... only flares up every so often
-
Thanks all - I am just trying to figure out the maths. So if my calories to lose 0.2 kg a week is 1650 and my maintenance is 1930 If I eat at around 2000 on workout days I won’t gain any weight hopefully
-
Going to give it a go this week and see how I go!! Wish me luck 😃
-
Thanks for all the replies everyone - since I have never really been over weight and I have nearly reached my “goal weight” I had in mind when first logging in so I think I might stop soon. Even in a short time of 6 weeks I have learnt a bit about portion control (like my previous servings of things like rice and pasta…

I’m 5’6” and have it set to 0.2 kg per week but have lost a little faster than this so far
-
I’ve been logging for 6 weeks gone from 65kg to around 61kg - don’t see any change in my body yet though
-
Also - I DEFINATELY don’t want to be doing this in the long run. How have people stopped and what happened after you stopped?
-
What’s TDEE I’ve seen this term a lot - how do you calculate it and what does it mean?
-
I have checked profile and it does ask height and birthdate! Set account so long ago I forgot!! I am definately hourglass with an F cup so not sure how much that would affect my weight (everyone said that they would be the first thing to go but still waiting...🙄 lol)
-
Thanks, that is really interesting feedback - I have always found it strange that you never need to enter your height, body shape or age so I guess it would be different for different people. I might up to lightly active and see how I go for the next 6 weeks
-
My settings are at the lowest rate already 0.2kg per week
-
Thanks for the reply!! I have been set on sedentary for the last 6 weeks and have lost around 4kg however a lot of days I feel like I am very hungry and end up eating maintenance anyway! That’s why I was thinking about the switch to lightly active just worried I might be over estimating.
