is this a weight lose challenge? I'm at my desired weight but want to keep up my fitness and maintain? Also can't seem to find how to join, may be my laptop being troublesome

Stealthhealth I totally agree, people respond to politeness. I shorten my rest period if someone is polite about it

That's been annoying me today, was at a wedding fair today and of course had to try cake samples, how else can I decide what I want? No idea how much was in those. Now the samples I brought back for my partner are sitting in the fridge calling to me.

Providing that your are trying to lose weight I'd recommend eating back 25% which is what my personal trainer recommended and it really worked. It depends on how quickly you want to lose the weight.

Question? I'm only 2lbs away from maintaining so I'm not gonna be much help to any house, is there a way for me to see your challenges so I can still compete with last weeks me?

My biggest struggle is that I have no gym buddy :( so I overcome it by spending too much time on mfp

Try doing some gentle stretches and maybe strength IF and only if you feel up to it. Try not to push your body past it's limits. I had a head injury a few weeks back and went mad with boredom. No tv, no work, no reading, no music and no exercise.

Porridge instead of flour for pancakes. Also rapeseed oil is much better than sunflower/olive.

The soundtrack to mama mia for cardio and phantom of the opera/love never dies for strength/flex. Sometimes wicked or les mis for a change. I also love party songs like the snake & the in navy. Real c

bonus pt 1. My aha moment was when I joined MFP. I was just planning to use it to record going to the gym but it was asking for my weight. So I stepped on scales for the first time in years and was not pleased. Bonus pt 2. I'm getting better and at least take multivitamins

My favourite: "Apple's are full of sugar, why are you eating that if you're 'dieting'?" Does is count as cardio if I viciously beat you round the head with it?

I'm a little unsure. I set it to light as my job involves sitting down a lot but I only work 25 hours a week and I do at least twenty mins of stretching/flexability every day and go for it at the gym at least three times a week so not sure if it should be higher. Did get my fat % measured yesterday and it said to eat 1230…

I do both. Are you a gym member? If you are ask one of the staff to show you around the machines and decide which you like.

I pretty much accept anyone, if they try I on (rare since profile pic not of me) I delete them

orange crush, kit kats and mints. I have pretty much stopped with the high fat snacks. I'll have a Jaffa cake or maybe a packet of quavers but I'll generally have a meal when I'm hungry and not bother eating because I feel like a packet of crisps. I go to the gym a lot and let myself be a bit extra naughty on those days…

It doesn't bother me personally. I like people watching at the gym.

I don't know if you have an eating disorder but being afraid to go over 1000 suggests you have an unhealthy relationship with food and that's not good. Speak to a professional about these feelings and remember no-one here wants you to be unhappy or unhealthy, we're all here to support one another whenever you need a…
