I'll add you! I had a c-section 1 year ago and have about 10-15 more pounds to go! :) I have a very stubborn csection pooch.

Thanks for the replies! I haven't lost anything since March 23rd so a little less than a month. Oops. Haha. I do weigh everything. I don't eat a lot from a package other than treats. But I always double check that the calories are correct. Never thought to look at the other info as I don't particularly worry about the…

Awesome!!! Thank you so much for the advice guys!! I can't even do one normal push up so I'll definitely start there. Lol and I have a kid so I won't look like some weirdo hanging out at the park alone! All great tips, thank you! :)

This is great! Thank you so much. Turbofire has me working really hard 6/7 days haha. I will try this and see if it helps. I used pre workout before my workout today to try and I felt like I was on speed. Not sure if I like that feeling!! Lol

Thanks for the advice! I have noticed when I eat a big lunch I do better on my workouts but then once in a while I'll have a big lunch and still feel drained. D: It's so strange. Maybe I'll try eating a banana or something before a workout and see if that helps. My husband uses pre workout so I can try it also. Just didn't…

My worst that I let myself indulge in is chocolate milk! I have a cup a day after my workout and it's nearly 200 calories. When I wake up in the morning I write it into MFP so I don't overeat because I WILL have my chocolate milk haha. But the stuff I have cut out for the most part; Ben and Jerry, Oreos, Homemade apple…

I have vanilla almond special k (1 cup) and skim milk (1 cup) every single morning. I don't feel hungry again until lunch so I actually save the extra calories for lunch or dinner.

Awesome, thanks for the responses! I'm going to keep an eye on ebay and see what comes up reasonably priced! :D
-
Ohhh ok!! From the video it seemed so amped. Lol good to know, I think you're right!! I tried insanity and really liked it, just the price tag seems to be really high, even used. :/ lol maybe I'll keep an eye out. Thanks for your input!! :D

Carrot sticks! And the slim fast cinnamon bun snacks are amazing ;-;

YEP. I have the exact same problem!! I started working out at the beginning of January and I would jog on the treadmill for 1 minute than walk for 2. I worked my way up to jogging for 2 minutes and walking for 1. I would be so tired by the end of my workout I'd slow down a lot and walk really slow. I would burn "250-300"…

I know someone said to stay away from Slim Fast, but it was on an amazing discount at Walmart this week so I bought two packages. I used to drink them when I worked early and didn't always have time to eat. They keep me full until the next meal and they're really tasty. Yes, they do have more sugar than a lot of them but I…

Sushi is something you'd have to consider an indulgence for the most part. The rolls are made with a sugar rice combination and there can be some pretty high cal sauces on some rolls. The California rolls are made with mayo. There are a lot of vegetable rolls that are really good though. :) The safest options are sashimi!…

I eat whatever occasionally but on a daily basis I have slim fast snacks. They're only 100 calories and they're tasty! But once in a while I'll have a chocolate bar or cupcake. I log everything too. I have lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks so I must be doing something right!

Thanks guys! My Fitbit doesn't monitor HR so I figure incline isn't being considered but I'm sure it's not a huge difference. I just wanted to figure out why it doesn't show up as an entry I guess it's just how it works? Weird haha. Maybe I'm my working out enough to add more calories like when you log in MFP. (not that I…

I have the charge! :) I did do that with mine before I worked out. :( It said I was on there for 35 mins and burned 223 but the treadmill said 357... 100 cal difference! But I figure Fitbit doesn't account for incline? Since I had it jacked up to 10 for half the workout. I'm mostly confused about the adjustment part.…

Thank you so much everyone! I really appreciate the reassurance. Off to get Starbucks and spend the day with my family! Thanks for the tip on pushing my weigh in back a couple of days, I'd probably feel bad if I didn't lose much, I think that's a good idea! (On the bright side, my husbands eyes went wide when he saw me in…

25 and mommy of 1 little boy! :) trying to lose 40 pounds! :)
-
Hi everyone! Currently trying to lose 45 pounds. I was 145 prepregnancy and now I'm 170. Hoping to get down to a healthy weight. My baby is currently 8 months old. Anyone who wants to add me, please do! I'm always looking for more friends :)
-
Skydancer, this is totally off topic, but I'm a SAHM with an 8 month old and at 170 pounds! I just think it's cool how we have some similarities, mind if I add you as a friend?

I have a bamboo steamer and a metal one. Honestly I hate my bamboo steamer. All the veggie taste like wood and the parchment didn't help with that at all. It was also a pain to clean because the wood isn't "finished" it's really rough and hard to wash. Honestly, the metal steamer is way better in my opinion but I only have…

Good idea! And thanks for the tip! Did you lose what MFP told you? Like how it says "if you eat like this every day you'll lose -- in 5 weeks?" If it's true it's what I'm aiming for and hopefully this amount of calories is enough. Haha although I find myself not actually meeting the amount anyways. :S
-
Oh my gosh! That's so funny! I'm the exact same way. I have gotten better since having a baby but I still stay up late and eat the whole time! Haha good advice though! I got it into my mind that I needed to eat 400 cal meals 3 times a day. I can see how it doesn't have to be that strict and I like the thought that I can…
-
Great advice!! Thank you. I think I'll do that, I notice I definitely eat less at breakfast and still feel full. :P Everyone has helped so much. I appreciate it.

Thanks everybody!! I think I'll keep going and see if I actually lose weight. :) I am in no rush, after all. Just want to be healthy!
-
Thanks for the replies guys!! I tried that calculator and it said 1600 was my metabolic rate. I don't even understand it. I'm so confused. On MFP if there is green in the remaining part, I did ok? It tells me I should lose 8-10 pounds the next five weeks when I complete an entry, so I should be alright? Ah, I'm so new at…

I have cheat treats instead of cheat days. If I feel like I want a treat, I work a milkshake into my calories that day or a donut or whatever. On special occasions like my birthday I allow myself to go over my calorie allowance and have some cake and my favourite food (just dinner) then the rest of the day I'm good. I also…

When people say to cut it out entirely it's just unrealistic for many. I can't cut it out entirely, it's not possible. What I've been doing is if I feel the sugar craving coming on I'll make myself a protein shake or have a slim fast chocolate drink. It's not much but it actually curbs my craving and I feel better. I log…

I bought a special chair with toys attached for like 20$ at Walmart and I only used it when I exercised so every time it seemed new and he'd be entertained for a half hour at least. Haha it only worked for so long but when he was 3 months it worked well haha
