When I cut before a competition I simply replace my protein shakes with dry protein, cut down on my fats some and make sure I do fasted cardio about three times a week. Now, I am a vegan bodybuilder so I lean down fast - usually a week and a half to two weeks and I'm pretty cut.

I'm a vegan bodybuilder and there are so many great options of plant based, wholefoods to build a beautiful strong body. Some of favourites are garbanzo beans, chia seeds, quinoa, lentils, hemp tofu and green leafy veges. Another good recipe book that is the Forks over Knives recipe book.

Have you tried eliminating gluten? Sometimes that can make your stomach bloated. Dairy can do the same. Bodybuilders cut out dairy weeks out from a competition. I am vegan so that is not a problem for me. Another thing that might reduce the stomach is doing fasted cardio for about 40 mins or more in the morning before…
