I will add you

Make sure you have enabled negative calorie adjustment. Then if you are not active enough to qualify for "lightly active" on any particular day, it will take calories off you. It's actually very motivating when you wake up with negative exercise calories already. I do little extra steps when ever I can, just to break even.

Thanks for all these posts. They are very inspiring!

If you change it to 1lb, your calories will adjust themselves up, probably to around the 1500 mark.
-
Could it be from the goals you set? i.e. 1.5-2lb per week loss
-
Thanks for that. I will join the group. I'm glad you have had good success with it. I have had a flex, but never wore it. I'm loving the HR so far!

I just worked it out. In Steps in the "More" list, it was set to iPhone, instead of Fitbit.
-
Thanks for the speedy reply! I tried to do this, but the only apps listed under "My Apps" are Bitbit tracker and Fitbit Aria

Where do I go on MFP to enable negative calorie adjustments? ETA - Never mind, I found it.

I hope you don't mind if I ask a question kimvmajor, rather than start a new thread. I am about to go and buy a Charge HR (have had a flex, but not synced to MFP). Have I understood correctly?.... If I have my activity level set to Light, my Fitbit will tell MFP if I have done enough steps and will minus cals if I haven't?…

I'm in! I just turned 40, two weeks ago. I need to lose 50kg (110lb). I am a self-employed single mum to two kids, and find it hard to find time to exercise. Plus, I stress eat a lot!

nicoiam69, absolutely! My kids like to exercise with me too, which is helpful. I find it hard in this ridiculous heat though.

Thanks for this thread. I have now been officially adopted by zcb94

What a fantastic weight loss! Well done! I am at the start of my journey and am aiming to lose 51kg (112lb), so am inspired by you. Thanks for the encouragement to focus on smaller goals.
