  • Yeah that sounds exactly like what I've been doing! I always want a quick fix and I know that's not sustainable in the long run. I think I'll aim for 1800 a day with 2 fast days. Then I can have more on the weekends without feeling too guilty or being too detrimental for my success?

  • Hi, sorry for the late reply but here are two screen shots from what I mean. It looks like the second one is not through exercise, so not sure why I have an extra 489 calories? Should I unlink my fitbit perhaps and just log my exercise manually? I don't want to over eat my calories. Thank you for your help!

  • Thank you! Do you think 1400 is too little then? I set it to lose 1.5lb a week so was quite surprised. Let's see how it goes! Fingers crossed. :)
  • I know - I am trying really hard to get in the habit of logging. I'm slowly getting there I think! It's all quite new to me so hoping to make it a part of my daily routine. I think 1400 should be okay, especially if I start going to the gym more?

  • Thank you so much for your reply, that's actually really useful. I've set MFP up to 'lose' 2lb a week so they have set me on 1460 cals. If I stick to that and also start training (I'm thinking the 30 day shred and some circuits classes) then hopefully that should work? It's just so confusing with people saying 'you should…
