Buy cabbage. Steam cabbage. Season as desired. Eat as much damn cabbage as you want. Seriously, eat 3 heads a day if you like (its about 300 calories per head).

TDEE. Not BMR. OP -- As long as your goal is reasonable, you should try sticking pretty closely to it. You will have bad days of course, but while shrugging off being over by 100 or 200, or even 500 every once in awhile is not going to affect much in the long run, getting in the habit of shrugging off those things is a…

Hm. I have always found it easier to lose weight in the summer because i just don't feel like overeating. Here it is nine o clock at night and i still have 700 odd calories left! Not Hungry.
-
hm. I usually get way less hungry... I've been 50-100 under goal for the last few days and haven't felt hungry at all. All winter I've been starving.

My scale has been teasing me forever. I use happy scale app, and one of my "intermediate goals" is 174. I have been within 0.4 of that but I keep failing to hit it!

Order something that you can eat without blowing your calorie goals (Like the veggie platter). Sitting there and not eating while everyone else is eating is not an option that works, obviously. And you are right, you CAN'T expect people to forego ordering food that they want/like because you are on a diet... so it is…

Apparently not in Brazil. I think it depends on the situation. If someone just asks out of the blue it is a little weird... But if you were talking about working out or dieting or whatever with someone, then it might be reasonable for them to ask. I'm confused by the people who get upset when people comment on their weight…

walk uphill. squat. do lunges. ride horses.

I cook at home all the time. No pain. Sometimes you don't have an ingredient you thought you did. Lol

don't use such hot water when you shower, don't shampoo every time you shower, don't use soap every time you shower... these are the things that are trying out your hair and skin, not the actual water itself...

I have pretty much always eaten whole and home-made foods (veggies, fruits, etc). Didn't stop me from gaining tons of weight and growing out of my pants. To eat less calories... eat less calories. Its as simple as that. Use MFP to log your meal ***Before*** you eat it. This helps you decide what an appropriate portion…

I feel like you wouldn't last very long in New Brunswick... One day of driving here and your head would probably explode.

dried beans, frozen vegetables, oatmeal, bananas, canned tuna. All of these things are super cheap.
-
put it in a ziplock, then fold the ziplock tightly to get the air out before "zipping", it creates a little vacuum and keeps the air from turning the flesh brown.... although even if it does go a little brown, it doesn't really matter all that much I find.

People lose differently. For me its the thighs that go last.
-
where the hell do you buy vegetables with best before dates anyways? I have never seen this.
-
Just don't shampoo every time... I shower almost every day, but I only shampoo once a week... Also, try cooler water. Keeping the water very hot tends to dry out everything (skin, hair, etc)
-
I bake or pan fry mine, use a dry spice mix rather than a sauce.
-
You can try reducing your sodium and carb intake for a water weight loss. Don't go crazy though.
-
Also Avocado on toast with some kind of fruit on this side, or Oatflour pancakes, etc.
-
Prelog your food to determine what your portions should look like, and then eat that... If you still have problems, then hit a dollarama, pick up some cheap tupperware and prelog AND prepare all of your meals for the day in advance, eat whatever you have planned and when your daily containers are empty, stop.

He actually didn't say vegan, OP and her spouse just decided to equate vegetable-based with vegan... Skipping over about ten levels of other legit vegetable based diets.
-
If you're completely inexperienced I would recommend a good cookbook... You'll have ingredients and cooking instructions, can't go wrong.
-
Um... Tell them to get off their duffs and do dishes? If they are eating the food they should share some of the responsibility, either helping to prepare or cleaning up.
-
About this: Not always papa burgers though. lol. That was a special treat.

There's a potion to help you not eat M&M's?!?!?! Hogwarts here I come!
-
lol. If you are going to try and convince me that men are GOOD at understanding women.... I live with one, so it won't work.
-
Men are especially bad at how to say this... If a woman said it that way, she is being catty, if a man says it that way... He's pretty much just being a dude. Tell him "I am trying to lose weight, but i need you to be encouraging and you are being discouraging."

I am pretty much a uniform medium for tops, and for bottoms I will be pretty consistant across brands (If i wear a ten in jeans, I can put on any ten, it is just an issue of whether they are comfry or not.) The one exception is that i can usually go down a size if the jeans are build for people who have bums (so usually…

Mercola says it... Microwaves are fine, they heat food by using microwaves to excite polarized molecules (water) in your food, which cause the molecules to vibrate faster and release heat in order to remain stable. Microwaves don't have enough energy to actually ionize anything.
