Considering it.

I have 5 pounds to go and it seems like it will NEVER come off! SW 264 CW 179 GW 175. Still logging faithfully, haven't been as active as I should be lately. Lost 10" in my waist, 2" in my neck and 10" in my chest. Companions are welcomed!

64 here and I've decided that I'm only as old as I allow myself to feel. My motto is "Growing older, not up". 60 is the new 30, haven't you heard?

Wow! Good job! And PRETTY smile!

I confess after an 84 pound weight loss, I still get envious when I drive by certain fast food places (very few, but still a couple).

Thanks! On my way!

Registered Nurse here. Trauma/ER for the first 10 years, now 28 years worth of Occupational Health/Consulting. SW 264 CW 179 GW 175. Add me if you're looking for experience, lol.

Where do you get it?

I just started week 2 as well. I ran about 20 years ago, wish C25K had been around then. Best advice is to go slow, no need to rush. As they say in all of the races; "To finish is to win." Speed will come, endurance comes first. I tried it first about 20 pounds ago, this time is MUCH easier, lol.

I'm 64. I started on my weight loss and fitness trek in August, 2015. I'm down 65 pounds, I've started C25K (2nd week) and have an Olympic weight set and squat bar (and use them) in my garage. "Old" is how you let yourself get.

As everyone has said, an "Allergist" is a Medical Doctor. A Naturopath is not. The only blood test that I'm aware of (and I'm not aware of ALL of them) is called a RAST Test that will test for allergens. I would put my money on the MD, IMHO.

64 yr old nurse here. After years in Trauma/ER, I moved to the corporate world and MAN, did I pack on the pounds! Starting weight here was 264, I'm at 180 today. You got this. Feel free to add me if you need a "Dad" figure, lol.

I have one that I got when I was in my 50's. Wife has a small one. Oldest daughter has 3. My dad had several. Surprisingly enough, we're all quite conservative otherwise, lol.

Maybe you're running too fast? I know when I first began running (many) years ago, my goal was to cover 20 minutes, that was before apps (before smartphones, lol). I tried C25K about 20 pounds ago and again, started out too fast. Today was my first day of a restart. I warmed up with a 3.8mph walk and only increased the run…

Hang in there, you're worth a lot more than you're giving yourself credit for. People DO care for you and without you, life would not be the same. Even those of us that don't know you yet, would not have the privilege of your presence if you weren't around. Your being here makes a difference in everyone's life. Sometimes…

Agreed! If the guy you're with likes your body, embrace your body for what he likes and celebrate the fact that he's happy with you and as a result, you get to be happy with you.

I confess that as I'm within a few pounds of my goal, I find myself becoming increasingly vain. Checking myself out in the mirror much more often. I even told my hair stylist that I was trying to reinvent myself a bit. Much more focused about clothes that I'm replacing. I'm eating up all of the compliments that I've been…

Congratulations!

I confess that those of us that watch love the extra wiggle.

Maybe take Potassium Gluconate?

I have it, have had it for years. Had it injected once. It wasn't a big deal because the injection site isn't deep into the tissue (small needle). It helped for a couple of months and then came back. I know about it if I sit for more than 45" at a time. It makes airline travel a pain in the a**, but I guess that's the…
