I thought it was passing kidney stones on 3 different occasions. Turns out urinating afte waking up AFTER having surgery for kidney stones...and it lasted at least a week. Whoever told my urologist that Vicodin would handle the "discomfort" was sadly mistaken. :'(

Married here, 43 years. Wife and I are both on Nutrisystem. I'm also exercising with cardio and weights. I've lost 65 since I started the diet, 80 total. I've lost relatively fast and her, not so much. She gets miffed when my loss is noticed and hers isn't. Sigh...

Different strokes for different folks. If the wearer is comfortable enough to wear it, good for them.

I thought that I was at the end of my shrinking stage, so I bought 2 sport coats about a month ago. Went from a 52 in August to 46 in March. I had to wear one on Saturday and find that it's completely too big. I'm going to have to drop to a 42 without looking like my jacket is going to swallow me. I also found a denim…

I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes about 5 years ago. Being a RN, I should have recognized the signs long before. I was on Metformin and in short order, everything came back to "Within Normal Limits". Over time, my A1C started creeping up. That was my wake up call that I had to take control of my life. Changed my diet,…

I watched The Force Awakens last night. I enjoyed it, but honestly, it seemed like a remake of the original, LOTS of similarities.

As a few have said "calories in, calories out". I started Nutrisystem in August, 2015. Joined a gym and started on the treadmill, as the weight dropped off, I put an Olympic weight set, dumbells, bench and squat rack in my garage because I didn't feel comfortable lifting at the gym (not confident around the gym rats and I…

I'm 2 pounds away from the upper limit of "normal". I was "Obese", it was my goal to get into the normal range. I'm thinking about getting about a third of the way into it to allow myself to build muscle. I do have a "large" frame (or so I've been told). My profile pic reflects how I look with 4 pounds to go.

Bow pic, but I have to admit, the butt ones look nice too!

To add, to hear someone say; "What do you got", of "What ya' got" is like fingers on a blackboard to me. Every television show I watch seems to use that phrase to great excess. What happened to "have"?

Try "PB Powder". 2 Tbs of powder, 1.5Tbs of water (per directions) and mix. I add a little more water to make it a bit more creamy. 65c. for 2 tbs. It's VERY GOOD. I put it on rice cakes, crackers (sparingly), include it in chocolate shakes.
