About $400 a month approximately. It's just me but I shop organic wherever possible.

You are what you eat. So don't be cheap, fast, easy, or fake. My strength doesn't come from what I can do. It comes from conquering what I couldn't. Don't stop when it hurts. Stop when you're done. The difference in who you are and who you want to be is what you do. The 3 C's of life: Choices, Chances, and Change You must…

That's great! I'm not sure shy but it's the same for me. I used to have to take a Prevacid everyday for severe heartburn/acid reflux. Now I've stopped taking them after losing 39lbs.

My favorite salad is: Avocado, red onion, English cucumber, roma tomato, fresh cilantro, evoo, fresh squeezed lemon juice, salt, cracked pepper, garlic powder.

108g strawberries, 160g pineapple, 113g cottage cheese

This sounds amazing

I didn't before. I get the occasional headache or migraine. Always have, no matter my weight. But nothing bp related.

Thanks so much :)
-
Thanks, it was rough.

Try adding calorie dense food. Nuts, but butters, cheese, avocado, olive oil, etc...

I started January 6. I've lost 39lbs. I used to have to take Prevacid every single day to prevent severe heartburn, acid reflux. Now I only take one if I know I'm gonna overdo it. I also just had my cholesterol, blood sugar, and blood pressure tested. The cholesterol has dropped about 30 points. The blood sugar was fine…

We really need more information to help. How many calories a day are you eating? How much do you have MFP set to lose? Do you weigh ALL food on a digital scale? That said two weeks isn't very long to establish anything.
-
Your deficit is already built in to your daily allowance. Whatever you set MFP to lose (.5ppw,1ppw,2ppw) has already been figured in. So ideally you would eat the whole number of calories you're allotted. When you add exercise MFP is designed to eat back those calories. Most only eat a portion of them back as the numbers…

Good choice ;)

Not sure how to access the new restaurant feature. Maybe someone who has used it will link it. It's very new.
-
Well you're not going to do both at once unfortunately.

@shinycrazy I'm sooooooo jealous! We're about an hour from Jungle Jim's but only get down there about once a year for the Weekend of Fire. I absolutely LOVE that place <3 <3 <3 I'm in the minority. I absolutely can't stand Aldi's.

Me: 11 Binge: 0 DBF: 22 Today I had to consciously fight the "Binge". It could have easily gone that route. I think TOM is impending. I hate days like this. But I stayed strong.

Most likely Walden Farms. I have never tried their products but they're calorie free per serving.
-
Oh, forgot sweet potatoes

This is true and this is me. As for the mom and cheesecake thing, I would have ordered the cheesecake and let her have a bite. Then I would have left it on the table otherwise untouched. My mom would've picked up on the cue and not asked again.

Only thing I've found Oikos Plain good for is as a sour cream substitute. Put it on a taco and call it a day.

Avocado, black beans (any beans really), oranges, raspberries, blackberries, most cruciferous veggies, high fiber English muffins (8g each), Mission Carb Select wraps (15g each), popcorn, chia and flax seed, oatmeal. So many delicious ways to get fiber. I average 50g a day. Today will be 60g +

So addicted to those ^^
-
Freezing them does work very, very well for guacamole. But it doesn't work so well for slicing after thawing. They become quite mushy. At least mine do.

A Grande Skinny Iced Mocha, like 100 calories.

I'm in the minority for sure but I don't keep anything but soup last two days. Soup I MAY keep for three. Things are likely good longer but, well, I have issues.

I weigh and track each ingredient. I just set my bowl on the scale and tare it after each vegetable/other ingredient until I'm done adding. I keep a notepad by my scale to jot down the numbers. Then add them to my diary while I eat which forces me to eat more slowly. Something I struggle with anyway.

Sam's Club is the worst for samples, lol. It depends on how many samples I have. I'll usually just add 50 calories for each sample. They're usually bite size/two bites max so I figure 50 calories should cover it. Some are fruit/veg which won't have the 50 calories, others are calorie dense which will likely have more. So I…

It may not be that the 585 calorie lunch wouldn't normally be enough but that you've been working at such a steep deficit that it's finally caught up with you. Leaving you ravenous and unsatisfied no matter what lunch you had. You could also try just adding a few 100 snacks between meals. Something to hold you over until…
