Instead of purposely gaining 2.5-3 pounds in one day when you're trying to lose weight why not add one food you've really been craving a few times a week. Even if you absolutely must eat at maintenance those days to make it fit, which you really wouldn't have to do anyway. You'll still be losing but just a bit slower. I…

Haha, good! I really didn't want to change dinner plans.

The most important thing is to keep going. That's why going slower will make it easier. Good luck to you and remember, "Slow and steady wins the race!"

It's a pretty aggressive goal. I'd adjust to .5ppw, eat more, be more comfortable, and still get the last 10 pounds off in a more sustainable way.
-
Brilliant! I'm trying this.

I like Premier Protien shakes. Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry. They have 30g protein for 160 calories. I buy then at Sam's Club. 12 for $16 something.

What do you have MFP set up to lose? .5ppw, 1ppw, 2ppw? It looks as if you may have it set to 2ppw. With only 10 pounds to lose you should have it set at .5ppw which would give you much more food. No wonder you're hungry.

Whatever I want and whenever I want. Just normally LESS than I want.

Chicken burritos. Roast chicken, shred, add spices. Serve 116g on a Mission Carb Balance wrap with 130g of black beans and 28g of shredded cheddar cheese or 70g of avocado. A whopping 18.5g of fiber per burrito. 470 calorie dinner.

I have a love/hate relationship with bananas. If I eat only 1 banana every few weeks I love them. If I try to eat two within the same timeframe I literally gag on the second one. Too much of a good thing and all that I suppose...

4 Halo mandarins and 10 cups organic air popped popcorn.

+1 I still get a bit of browning but it's minimal and can easily be trimmed away without much waste.

I'm at 48g already today and had planned a dinner with 18g tonight. I'm a bit worried to consume 66g today as I've never been above 53g. Anyone else consume this much fiber daily?

I eat 75-85% of my calories within 3-4 hours of bed. I've lost 39lbs in 3 months. Granted, I'm very obese so that weight loss is most definitely not typical for everyone. Just posting it to show food timing has played absolutely NO factor in my loss.

+1 With only 20lbs to lose you're doing it correctly.

I've never seen a date on fruit or veg but I do only buy from the bins to select each piece personally. I never buy bagged.

Food timing has no impact on weight loss. Eat when you like just stay in a deficit.

Don't know if you have a Kroger in your area but I'm more than happy with their store brand of turkey bacon.

I've lost 38 pounds since January with no exercise except my daily activity from working an active job. Plus I took one walk and played soccer twice. So virtually no exercise at all.

Do you readjust your goals every 10 pounds lost? Add your new weight and let it calculate the new lower calorie goal? If not, you probably should.

Cheese. The answer's always cheese

I count everything but water. I estimate water consumption. Logging only takes a few minutes out of my day.

I take chelated magnesium glycinate. A bit more expensive then most but well worth it imo.
