We're planning a cruise next summer. I have a LOT to lose so I'll still be losing next summer. I have no plans of "dieting" while on the cruise. I'll eat what I want, when I want. This is something that doesn't happen often. Maybe once a year or every few years. If I gain 2lbs, I'll work a bit harder when I get home.

I have no research to show, but I can say I've lost 36lbs since Jan 6th eating approx 1500 calories AFTER 5pm.

Sending a request. I started here on Jan 6 with 191lbs to lose. Since then I've lost 36.4 pounds so I still have about 154 more to lose. I'm in it for the long haul. I log everyday and have an open diary.

Are you weighing all your food on a digital scale? Using cups/spoons for liquids? If so try adding some calorie dense foods. Nuts, nut butters, evoo, avocado, etc...

It curbs my hunger a bit. It also helps with acid reflux for me. I really think it's a healthy addition. But it doesn't "cause" weight loss. Of course if you find it curbs your appetite it can help.

Sounds fine. MFP sets calories dependent on the individual. It will differ person to person by sex, age, start weight, goal loss, etc. I'm set to 1870 calories to lose 2ppw. Last week I lost 5.8 though so I could obviously eat even more.

Figure out exactly where you're ordering from, use their online nutrition calculator, make a plan, log it and stick to it. It's most definitely the behavior. If I have a full on binge day I can easily consume 5000 calories. It's completely out of control. I'm completely out of control.

I'm a binge eater too. I recently found a binge eaters group here on MFP. They have a way of looking at the binge as a "person" so to speak. An adversary.
