Rumour has it it’s pretty accurate. Maybe take the data for a couple of weeks and see if you gain (in which case it’s over estimating) or lose (it’s under estimating). I use the figures for everything apart from uphill walking and it’s accurate for me.

I use mine to track cardio (swimming, running, cycling, walking etc) and it seems to be accurate. Much more so than the MFP estimates. You need to set your details in HealthKit (I think) and remember that (the versions 1 and 2 at least) don’t have an altimeter (sp?) so can’t factor in inclines. Hence it doesn’t know the…

I may be rubbish at maintaining but I was good at losing so I’ll use 115lbs as my target for my next go at maintenance.

Glad I’m not the only one! I’ll start again after Christmas and stick to “maintenance” in the meantime.

Except my TOM weight doesn’t usually last two weeks. But I think you’re right, it’s a combination of things. My maintenance range is meant to be 120-125 but as of this morning I’m at 129.2

Don’t focus on the full 40, set yourself mini goals of 5lbs or so. Celebrate those with a (non food) reward. You’ll get there!

Sorry maybe I wasn’t clear. I was planning to add 100 calories a day (so go up to 1400 initially) and leave things there for a couple of weeks. If I still lose, I’ll add another 100 calories a day (1500) and then give it a couple of week.

The walking is uphill (the steepest incline the treadmill will go) so hopefully isn’t too far off. I religiously weight everything so I would hope that I’m not than far off with “calories in”. But you’re right, something is off somewhere.

Texas - Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and Houston. The buffet at the Bellagio was my undoing. That and the frozen hot chocolate from Serendipity 2. Drool.

My mum always struggled with her weight but has done an amazing job at losing and maintaining over the past 10 years or so. She’s got a great figure. Everyone else is very fit and healthy.

Plan. I’m off on holiday from Saturday so I’ll need to keep an eye on my calories as I always lose too much on holiday.

Sadly it now too big :p so I ended up buying one that’s similar but smaller.

I was eating at 0.5lbs deficit but never actually managed to lose just 0.5lbs a week. Averaged about 1.5lbs a week. I think I massively under estimate my exercise burns.

Crunchy bran cereal (40g) with whole milk (20ml). Braeburn Apple (184g) chopped up and dunked in 100g of fat free fage yoghurt. Large coffee with whole milk (100ml) and sugar free syrup.

I occasionally wake up with an upset stomach after a protein shake. Never figured out what causes it since it’s infrequent.

Have you considered a diet break? It would be a chance to have a break and regain your motivation.

I used buying clothes as a reward for progress so went through several changes of outfit from size 22 to 6. Although (big mistake) I didn’t update my underwear.

Ditto. I rarely feel really enthusiastic about exercising either before or during. But afterwards I always feel awesome. It’s that feeling plus routine that keeps me going.

Definitely ask him if you can work in. He might be taking breaks between sets and maybe you can do your thing whilst he’s breaking.
