Oh my goodness! How could I forget snap peas! Probably because I rarely get any in the house...the kid eats them all right in the garden. ;)

I push back as hard as I can so that I can eat at my normal lunch time, it's easier for me to be hungry then than later in the day.

Favorite things to grow: basil (so many different kinds that smell sooo good!!), tomatoes, radishes (eating the greens, the radishes, and then letting some go to seed so we can eat the radish pods), chives, beets, carrots, various greens, kohlrabi, banana peppers, okra (surprisingly yummy raw), eggplant, watermelon, other…

I count calories in fruits and veggies. If I could, I would make those calories bold and flashing neon, because I need to eat more vegetables and fruits.

The pie chart is showing the relative breakdown of macros, that is always going to add to up to 100%. Since you have not eaten much fat comparatively, protein is looking high as a percentage of the calories you've eaten. You still have 763 calories left to eat, that would consist of approx 28g protein, 106g carbs, and 34g…

5 cups popped is not very much popcorn. I am thinking that would be more of a kid's pack size in the US.

Since you like breakfast sandwiches, something like mix and match bread of choice (wrap, English muffin, etc.) with protein of choice (ham, chicken, bacon, pepperoni, etc.), cheese of choice (cream cheese, mozzarella, pepper jack, muenster, cottage, farmers, etc.) and berries of choice (blueberries, strawberries,…

The only time I ever craved steak, it turned out I was pregnant but didn't know it yet. :o I had a craving for all.the.salt right before I got sick this week. Figure I needed it for all.the.snot that was to come.

I would try the following: --adding some (non-wheat) carbs after your cardio to see if that helps. --reducing the intensity of the cardio to see if that makes any difference --drop the cardio altogether and see if just weights leaves you feeling OK later Though cardio can make it easier to be able to eat more and still…

For me, maintaining a weight that is not overweight requires constant attention and a constant state of mild to moderate+ deprivation. Sometimes I just cannot or do not want to deal with it. I want to be a healthy weight, but the amount of effort required is ridiculous and overwhelming at times.

Hang in there and drink lots of water. It'll go down when your digestion gets back to normal, which might take a few days.

I am an apple shape and I agree that it doesn't wear its weight as well as some of the other shapes. I once was told I looked like a blueberry (when wearing a blue sweatshirt). :D I will never have a tiny waist and certain styles will just never work for me. BUT...there are still more options when at a healthy weight vs.…

Could you just alternate pilates and yoga workouts? I am not sure what piyoga gives you that the individual pieces do not, sorry if this is a silly question... :)

If you pay close attention while you are changing carb levels, you may notice ranges where you feel better/worse. I do best at <150g.

Weigh it frozen and use the nutrition information from a bag of frozen strawberries (there will be numerous choices in the database). Same goes for frozen blueberries, peaches, mango.

Have you adjusted your calorie intake since you started? If you are not already at your minimum, you might try dropping your calories a bit to account for your weight loss. A 28 pound loss will probably decrease your TDEE by something like 150+ calories.

I have one higher calorie meal (preferably dinner) and 1-2 smaller meals. The smaller calorie meals may also include more volume from veggies. My preference does change from time to time, and if I start feeling extra hungry I play around with macro ratios and meal size/frequency to see if that helps.

Most people are really bad at visualizing what 50 pounds lost would actually look like on someone. That being said, there is no reason to go into that much detail. If someone says to me "yeah, I have another 50 pounds to lose" there is really no other polite response than "no way do you need to lose that much!"

When I am super busy and happy, I can eat intuitively and lose weight. This has happened during several different periods in my life. But usually, no. The circumstances surrounding those busy&happy time periods were largely outside my control and as such cannot be duplicated. Working with my current reality, calorie…

It's hard to guess what might be going on without more information. Do you have MFP set to lose 1 pound per week? Are you weighing your foods? How are you handling exercise calories?
-
For me, it's all about projects and goals. If I am busy working toward something, I either don't even notice things that might otherwise make me jealous, or I am able to be happy for the other person as they are working toward their goals. The projects have to be things that mean something to me, but it could be anything…

Yes, that is normal, your heart is working more effectively to do the same work as you get in better shape!

It's about 20 weeks until July, so that would put you at 1.5 pounds a week to lose 30 by then, an average 750 calorie per day deficit on your total daily energy used. You can google some TDEE calculators, I put your numbers into the calculator at iifym and came up with 2056 without exercise to maintain, so that would put…

If you need to, take a maintenance break while you sort out whatever it is in your mind that might be holding you back. Keep logging, even if it's not pretty. Keep weighing (yourself and your food). When a person gets close to goal, it all of a sudden becomes more real that for the most part, the changes you make while…

I agree with nutmegoreo. Rapid unexplained weight gain (14 pounds in one week, 30 pounds in a month) is definitely something to bring up with your doctor. Have you had any shortness of breath or swelling?
-
Hard to fight that kind of hunger. I would figure out your TDEE then gradually step it down. If you went from TDEE+ to 1200 that might have been too big a decrease.

Sleep--I have to sleep. I don't care, it's my #1 priority. Non-negotiable. Nothing and I mean nothing good will come from forcing this past a certain point for me, because I've tried. OP, only you knows how much you can push it. Stress--In this scenario, forcing myself to exercise can actually help. Having easy button…
