Morning all, I had another good night of sleep - 6hrs 20mins. I need to try to continue with this amount during the week. Doesn't help that I work nights.

@DresdenSinn - I have just upped my exercise from one hour a day to two hours a day. Hoping that will help make me tired. May have to consider changing the times I exercise too. @DEBOO7 we feel you on that! Hang in there and don't give up. We have found that although we have bad nights when we only get a few hours sleep, when we focus and make the effort to do all we can we can get a good 6+ hours we succeed. Do you know your reasons for not sleeping much? Distractions? Not tired?

4hrs 52mins sleep for me 49 mins of which was deep sleep. An improvement from the day before but still not good enough. @DresdenSinn - over 7 hours sleep two nights running that's brilliant. Plus you are getting a nice balance of deep and light sleep. I dream of having this type of sleep - oh one day!!!! I have faith that it will happen I just need to keep working on it.

@brittdee88 I feel your pain - being a light sleeper can be so frustrating as the slightest thing disturbs our sleep which also results in not having much deep sleep. I am going to try to make myself exhausted before I go to bed to see if that helps me get a deeper sleep.

Well I slept for 6hrs 12 mins (51 mins deep sleep). I am happy for over 6 hours. Still not getting it in one sleep - slept for 4hrs 33mins then hours later slept for 1hr 39mim. I will get there eventually!

6hrs 5mins last night but only 49 mins of deep sleep - not good enough. I actually woke up feeling really tired.

Everyone is doing so well - we need to keep at it. We will have the odd days when it's not great but we are doing so much better than the beginning of the month. Managed 5hrs 55mins so was 5 mins short of my goal of 6 hours! :( Will try to make up for it tomorrow. Would be lovely if I could sleep straight through and not have to do my sleep in stages. Oh well, at least I am getting some sleep.

I have already had 3hrs sleep today but am hoping I can have 3-4 sleep this afternoon. Here's hoping! I really must try to get my sleep in one go rather than in lots of little naps. I had better put that yoga for sleeping video on!!

@brittdee88 oh dear that does not sound good. What's keeping you up until 3am? Are you distracted by phone/tv/books or is it just that you are not tired and don't want to sleep yet? I can relate to that as, my body is not used to sleeping at night so it won't wind down after dark even if I am not working at night.

@DresdenSinn what a brilliant night's sleep you had. It's great that you managed over 4 hours of deep sleep. Even though you woke up twice it's great that you were able to fall back asleep again. Made me smile reading you woke yourself up because you were laughing. Glad something was tickling your fancy in your dream.
