  • Hi all. This is my first round and I am a little apprehensive as I normally weigh myself on a weekly basis. Have never done daily as was not sure how I would react to the fluctuations on a daily basis. I do realise this could be a positive and keep me on track. I was aiming to join you in round 15 but I chickened out but I…

  • Had another great night of sleep - 7hrs 44mins - unbelievable. I just hope I can continue this during the week. Sadly only 44mins was deep sleep. Any tips on how to sleep deeply for longer?
  • @DresdenSinn - you had another good night of deep sleep - very consistent. @corinasue1143 - so glad you finally managed to get some good sleep. @brittdee88 - you have been doing well with your sleep the last couple of nights - hopefully next week you take advantage of the peace and quiet and are able to get some quality…
  • Wow, I did some yoga for sleeping last night and then played a sleep meditation before I went to bed. Guess how long I slept for? 8hrs and 23mins. Only 1hr and 7mins was deep sleep but I will take it.
  • @corinasue1143 and @brittdee88 hope you both managed to get a better night's sleep. I have not been doing too great with my sleeping. I have only managed Wed 4hrs 28 mins, Thurs 3hr 19 mins and Fri 5hrs 21 mins. I am hoping to do better over the weekend. It has been a tiring week! @DresdenSinn love that you are getting…

  • How are you getting on? Are you managing to get 7 hours sleep without waking up? Hmmm our phones are our enemies in the run up to bedtime - too much of a distraction!
  • I will give anything a go so if this meditation works for getting a good sleep and weight loss it's a double whammy!!
  • How are you getting on?
  • @brittdee88 that's great news being able to return home in a couple of days. I do hope there has not been too much devastation in your area. Great to know you managed to get nearly 9 hours sleep last night. That's fantastic. You needed to make up for the previous nights. Shame you were not able to get more deep sleep but…
  • @imlightning - welcome! Sounds like you have a good routine in that you aim to be asleep by 10:30pm. What wakes you around 3:00am? Bathroom break or something else? DresdenSinn has mentioned that they stop drinking around 6pm to avoid having to wake up. I am going to try not having anything to drink about 2-3 hours before…
  • Oh dear that was not much sleep especially on the back of two good nights. Fingers crossed tonight is a better night for you. Was you tired when you went to bed at 12:30? Did something disturb your sleep half an hour later or did you wake up naturally because you were not tired? I have come to the conclusion that I have to…
  • Hope the worst is over for you and you are able to return home soon. It's difficult to get proper sleep when you have the added stress of not being in your own bed and worrying about the hurricane. Thinking of you.
  • I only managed 1hr 29 mins on Monday having been awake for over 30 hours and today only 3hrs 17mins (44 mins of that was deep sleep). Not good at all. Going to try a new pattern tomorrow to see if that works. Will report back in due course if it worked.
  • @DresdenSinn - you are doing so well with your sleep. Even better if you are also managing to get some naps in. Glad to see you got more deep sleep than light sleep last night.
  • Day/Weight/Comment 9/10 - 133.8 - 1lb up from when I weighed myself a few days ago. I can't complain as I ate some naughty snacks over the weekend. It could have a been a lot worse. Here's hoping I don't pay the price tomorrow! 9/110 135.8 - up 2lbs more :s 9/12 9/13 9/14 9/15 9/16 9/17 9/18 9/19

Total so far: 15.30 Goal: 50m Miles to go: 34.70m I really do need to pick up the pace. Instead of getting better my steps are…
  • Hi all, Lost a bit of focus over the past few days and not posted - sorry! Friday I managed to get 5hrs 58 mins over several naps. Just missed the 6hr goal. Saturday I only managed 2hrs 32mins of restless sleep - not good at all. Sunday I made up for it by getting 7hrs 2mins over several naps but have now been awake for…

  • I had a rest day today - by body was protesting! @missevil sounds like you you have this in the bag and are making steady progress - well done. Its always nice when other people notice the hard work you are putting in and actual make the effort in telling you how great you look.
  • I feel your pain @corinasue1143. Sometimes no matter what we try it just doesn't work but don't give up. Keep at it. Hopefully one day your body will realise and get into the habit of sleeping for longer periods. I have only slept for 5hrs and 17mins today in total and that's by taking 3 separate naps. First sleep was for…

  • I totally relate to only getting around 3 hours sleep. Before this challenge I routinely only slept between 2-4 hours per day. Just being more conscious of my sleep pattern has increased it. You may want to try not watching something on the computer or on your phone before falling asleep as I have read somewhere that it…
  • My sleep has not been great the past two days. Tuesday (5hrs 13 mins) and Wednesday (4hrs 20mins). Going to aim for a minimum of 6 hours today. Already had 3hrs 20min. I really must try to get my sleep in one go rather than in several naps.
  • @DresdenSinn - 8 hrs 27 mins is fantastic. What I am most impressed with is that you were able to have more deep sleep than light sleep. I think the way forward is for you not to nap as you will be getting better quality sleep. I have taken note about the exercising every day for an hour and the not eating after 6pm. I…
