Didn't mean to overlook anyone. All these stories are amazing!

This is incredible! Great work! Stick with the new lifestyle.

Currently only strength training on a slow bulk. Even as the scale climbs, the pants get looser. A good balance is best though.

I don't want the phone to get stolen, then find out there is a$1000.00 worth of overseas calls made on it. Plus I have the iPhone with the fingerprint. Works great.

Quaker makes a high protein oatmeal. I think it has some soy in it.

Add me if you like. I lost over 20 pounds on mfp this winter. I log in every day, everything I eat. My log is open to friends. Currently on maintenance.

You can add me if you like. My log is open to friends. I log everything I eat & most of my exercise. I am, however, in maintenance mode, not losing right now.

Make a foil boat. put the salmon on it skin down. Optional drop of olive oil or tiny speck of butter on top. Season with salt & pepper. Old Bay seasoning is great on it, especially the blackened Old Bay. Preheat to 400. Cook 20 minutes. Also, Hollandaise sauce is great on salmon (without the Old Bay). I have salmon several…

I lost just 20-some pounds & people told me to stop. -Do what's best for you, but don't over do.

Fitness Blender is a good series of home workouts on YouTube. Friendly, up-beat.

Baked salmon fillets. Keep them in the freezer. Pull one out after work. Put one on foil. Sprinkle with Old Bay. (I like the cajun). Bake 20 min at 400.

The worst I've gotten is a good natured "you know, all that healthy eating is going to kill you".

Clearly, the "Diet Industry" is getting scared of MFP & its obvious successes.

Please do not do the gastric surgery. Just get with the MFP program. Set up your profile, log everything that goes in your mouth accurately & honestly. Stay at or below your calorie goal every day & commit to it for life. It has worked for everyone here. You have everything else in place. I know several people that have…

I bought this: walmart.com/search/?query=taylor%207222f&typeahead=taylor%207222 (Taylor 7222f) At Walmart. It is a cheepie but it works great. It Bluetooths to its phone app & MFP picks it up automatically. It seems like the fat reading is mostly a calculation.

Not a huge transformation, but I feel great! Congratulations to all of the beautiful people that have posted on this amazing thread!

We know that we can find a "study" to prove any point that we want. The OP stated that she would work too hard, get sore & quit. My point was simply that I followed guidelines found on MFP & that it wasn't that hard & it worked great for me.

MFP calculates them for you. On the web page they're at the bottom. On the phone app hit the nutrition button at the bottom of your diary. Try to get them to the top without going over. Especially try to get the protein to the top.

I am 55 & "re-entering" fitness. I lost the most weight doing my "cardio" in heart rate zone 2. For me about 120 BPM. An article I found on MFP stated that our bodies burn fat best in that zone. As we work harder, we burn the electrolytes on hand from recent meals & not the stored fat. I actually lost weight (20lbs) faster…

The 5x5 program uses a power rack. I bet your gym has that. When set up properly (5x5 shows exactly how to set it up) if you fail on a rep, the rack will catch it. It will be a long time before you will be lifting to exhaustion if you follow the 5x5 plan to the letter (follow it to the letter). I am currently doing the…
