When I get a migraine, the only thing that helps me is Pepsi and jujubes... Sooo, rather than just settle for a can of Pepsi and a small pack of jujubes, I went whole hog and had the 710 mL bottle and TWO pouches of jujubes for a whopping 860 calorie binge. I feel so gross... and I still have a migraine :(

I suggest keeping it high as long as you're losing, you'll need to lower it as you begin to weigh less. This way you won't be starving when you lower your calorie intake to continue losing. Does that make sense?

Same here! I lost 105 lbs in 2011-12 and have gained back about 70 lbs :( I am just going back to basics, logging everything, moving more, eating less, loads of water, gave up sugary drinks... I'm really trying not to overwhelm myself because I think I got derailed when I started trying to figure out macros and stuff. Make…

When I started, I was 235 (I'm 5'4 1/2") and I ate 1500-1800 calories a day. I lost 105 lbs in about a year and a half with that method. I also exercised about 6 days a week and didn't eat back my calories.

I base my self-worth on what the scale says in the morning. Okay, well, maybe not my entire self-worth but that number dictates how I feel about myself for the rest of the day.

This morning I had to tighten the band on my bra!

Adjust your speed. You may be trying to go too fast too soon. Find a pace that's comfortable. Of course it's challenging, you're just starting out, but you shouldn't feel like throwing up after a minute. Maybe the shin pain requires new shoes. Go to a running store. If all else fails and you're dreading running, you may be…

I started out on another calorie tracking website in 2011 at 247 lbs (I'm 5'5") and I set my calorie range to 1500-1750 per day. I managed to lose 105 lbs in a year and a half by sticking with it. Good luck :) You can do it!

Sure! Count me in (a little late...)! 20 lbs is VERY aggressive seeing as how I've been losing an average of 1.25 lbs per week, but it never hurts to try! (Challenge) SW: 198.4 (2016-04-22) (Challenge) GW: 178.4

I am looking at trying this lifestyle, but I just don't know what I would eat!!!

Incredible! Congratulations :)

Welcome! I'm on day 67 of tracking and have lost about 12 lbs so far.

I am losing weight (eating <1500 calories per day for now), just not as quickly as I'd like to, I guess. I'm averaging a loss of about 1.4 lbs per week. I just feel guilty when I don't so anything, which seems to be more often than not right now. I'm considering joining a kickboxing gym, which is sort of like "Curves" in…

Fantastic! So what's your secret? My hubby is looking for advice!

Are you taking measurements? Also, how much water are you drinking?

YOU ARE AMAZING!!!! Way to go!!!

What about a Skinny Cow ice cream bar? That way you have your preset portion and you don't have to worry about over-indulging!

Any advice from someone who is grossly overweight. I have a person in my life who has been overweight her entire life, is an insulin dependent diabetic, eats sugar and artificial sweetener like there's nothing better for her, has ZERO concept of portion control and yet she insists on telling me how I should eat. I'm good,…

AMAZING!!! Congratulations!

"Internal"? LOL You have more self control than I do :)

I think that you have to find the ones that work for you. I personally hate Jillian Michaels and pretty much every Beachbody DVD I've ever tried, but I love Ellen Barrett's fitness methods and have had great success with my collection of her DVDs.
