I do Beachbody workouts. Have completed 21 Day Fix and Cize, have about 30 days left of P90X3 to go before starting 22 Minute Hard Corps

Haha!! No you're not!!

There's no set weights that you need. You start where you're good and move up from there. I've been using 5, 8, and 10s, but am going to have to increase soon. But there are some moves that it is recommended to use a very light weight so keep that in mind.

I am also a mother of 2 and I absolutely do not have time to go to the gym. I workout at home. I started with 21 Day Fix and am now doing P90X3, both of which are only 30 minutes a day, but incredibly effective! The progress in my upper body has been amazing! And all you need is some Dumbbells or resistance bands.

I have only done Cize, but loved it! Shaun T does it in a way that makes it easy to follow. Although it is quite fast by the end. He takes you through the moves step by step at a slower pace before bumping it up to tempo, and then adds on the moves 1 by 1 in the same way so you slowly build up the routine.

Excellent point! I quite agree. This is the first time EVER I'm trying to maintain my weight while working on strength and toning. While I still weigh myself, I don't hold the scale to face value. My weight fluctuates within a couple pounds on a regular basis. Last month, I didn't lose any weight (yay), but I lost 2.5…

I completed Cize in the fall. I loved it! But it is mainly a cardio program, so no upper body strength training.

The Hand That Feeds - Nine Inch Nails and Jump Around - House of Pain...although Jump Around basically makes me want to just jump around!

I experienced similar issues, needed a lifestyle plan, not just a temporary fix. I found success with 21 Day Fix, the portion control stmysyem was easy to follow! I lost my last bit of weight, and am now maintaining using the same program. No counting calories, just filling my containers with the approved foods. Eating…

You're very welcome! Any other questions, just ask!

I take measurements and photos every 30 days. I also weigh myself regularly, but am trying to not put too much stock in the number, other than to check that it's where it's supposed to be.

I agree about the length of the P90X workouts. I only have 2 children (7&11), but it was taking too much time. I switched to P90X3, same intensity, but only 39 minutes!

I love working out at home! I never set foot in a gym. I've lost all my weight at home, reached my goal doing 21 Day Fix and Cize and am now working on maintaining, strength and toning. It's not just about the workouts though, it's also about the food!

I started P90X in January and loved it! HOWEVER, I found it almost stressful to find time to fit the workouts in and still have time for my husband and children when I was done work. The workouts are awesome, but range from 60-90 minutes in length. After 2 weeks, I switched to P90X3. If find I get the same intensity, but…

The main thing that helped me out was motivation and accountability groups. I joined my first in October, and am running them now with a great group of people. It's awesome to have like minded people supporting each other and sharing all the struggles and success! Also, I have been taking before and after pictures every 30…

I had the same problem. I found I had to sync my Fitbit first before the stats would sync to MFP. Not sure if having both apps open at the same time is key also, but that's what worked for me.
-
Lol I completely agree! That's why 3 is great...only 30 minutes, EVEN yoga!

Hold down the button on the side, your Fitbit will vibrate and a timer will start. It'll track your workout and post those steps and calories separate from your daily ones. Just remember to take it out of activity mode when you're done (hold down the button again until it vibrates!). I forgot once and it posted a 5 hour…

So far, I've reached my goals with only 30 minutes a day, occasioanally 45, it DOES work!!
-
Yes, they are all 30 minutes!! And the workouts are still VERY intense. I actually find I'm working harder with X3 because it's a faster pace.
-
Are you putting your Fitbit into activity mode when working out? As long as you're in activity mode, there's no doubling up on calories burned, it tracks them separate from your daily calorie burn.

I was going to say 21 day fix as well. I was inactive for many years, this was the program I got back into it with. And the wonderful thing with it is it's only half an hour a day, very easy to fit into any schedule. Feel free to message me if you need more information or have any questions.

I started P90X at the beginning of the month. However, I found the workouts were too long for me to fit in to my schedule right now. I'm saving it for summer when the kids are out of school. Started P90X3 on Monday and loving it so far!

I have only tried 1 of the PiYo workouts, when I was in between programs and I enjoyed it, but I haven't done the entire program. A couple of ladies in the challenge group I'm running are doing/have done PiYo and really love it!

It's relatively easy to cancel. If you decide you don't want to continue with it, you just have to call them to cancel before the first 30 days are up. If you decide to subscribe, you can still cancel at anytime with just a phone call. Along with the sneak peaks, challenge du jour, and any of your purchased programs, there…

If you buy the program outright on DVDs, there's no monthly subscription, just a 1 time fee.

Sweets are my weakness too! It sucks when we get to the point that we really need to watch what we eat! It is hard, but eventually eating well becomes a habit. Good luck with your journey!
