I'm trying to lose weight so right now I'm just focusing on my calories but trying to hit the protein goal. When I get better at the calorie counting and see some changes I plan to focus on the macros more in the hopes I can balance my foods better.

I'm 1,290 cals. I do exercise but I do not log these workouts as it gives you calories back and I don't want to workout thinking I can have 2 cookies or something. I admit I could also exercise more.

Just keep going. You can do it, same way your friend did it. Try swimming or home workout videos. I also go walking/hiking but the truth is I need to sweat more in order to lose more, I have to work harder. You do not have to join a gym to do that. Keep up your walking but also include some heavy sweat fests on those days.…

I use coffee creamer powder. I do not like the reduced fat one as it doesn't give the same flavour and isn't much different in the calories. Coffee with coffee creamer powder isn't something I'm willing to give up completely. I have just 1 coffee a day and if I want another one in the afternoon I go for a hot tea instead.…

Going for a walk in a park or a hike somewhere is something I've found very helpful. I usually bump into older folks or dog walkers, not too many overly fit people.
