My favorite is: http://minimalistbaker.com/vegan-gluten-free-black-bean-brownies/ but I replace the sugar with either Splenda or sugar-free pancake syrup. Also, you can use flax seed "eggs" or regular hen's eggs if you don't care if the brownies are vegan.

Black bean brownies are truly amazing!

Why does the motivation to work out matter? I enjoy working out (most of the time) now, too, but I began working out so I could have treats, rather than stick with my rather restrictive 1400 calorie diet. Not only am I now in much better shape, but my blood sugars have normalized as well - and all this happened because…

This is what I do and why I began running at all.

The fact that you completed the 10K at any pace should make you proud!! Congrats to you!

Just don't pay the renewal fees. Why should you have to make excuses to the manager or anyone else? Ime, though, no gym will let you wear sandals on the treadmill. That's not even safe.

Just for today (tomorrow actually) I'll stop eating while packing my lunch for the next day.

From the main page go to settings -> diary settings and make sure the "show news feed on the home page" box is checked. That should solve the problem. ETA: I have used the FAQ site many times and it's always been very helpful.

It's water gain from muscle repair. Keep going, it will even out. Weight loss is not linear.

You can't help him because he hasn't decided to help himself yet. Until/unless he does nothing you say will make a difference. If you're tired of hearing him whine tell him so. If he continues, move on. Since all he does is lay in bed, drink and play video games how stimulating can his company be?

Concrete think much @SexyStef? This is called an analogy, and a particularly apt one.

Fabulous analogy! As a many times failed dieter, I can definitely related to this!

What's wrong with Viking death metal? Hail Amon Amarth!

Are you sure this is not you projecting your emotions onto them?

I don't know what your body issues are, but just explain to him (six year-olds are pretty savvy) that not everyone eats the same amount. Some people need more food and some need less. My guess is he's learning more detrimental body issues from watching your morbidly obese husband. I second Packerjohn's assertion that three…

Start slowly and increase time and intensity when the routine becomes too easy.

Seriously, OP, that's over 2 pounds! Wth do you do? Save it up and only poop once a month?

I notice that not only did you read the title of the post, but you opened the thread and replied! If you don't like the subject (which was hardly hidden!) don't open the thread! How simple is that?

I do this with Nutrisystem.

Fitnessblender has a lot of great workouts and they're free. They vary in time, intensity and equipment required and the website is really well organized. Also, Amazon.com has downloadable fitness videos. Some of them cost, but if you have Amazon Prime you can get some of them for free.

You watch the clock at work, counting down the hours/minutes, thinking, "________number of minutes until I can go run."

Continue what you're doing until it's no longer challenging, then up the activity a little until it's challenging again. Increasing activity too fast will end up in injury; then you'll be worse off than you are now. Happy exercising!

I love my Misfit Shine. I used to have a Fitbit but I had to replace it 3 times in 7 months and it was always on the charger. My Misfit batteries last about 4 months and I never take it off. I have 6 bands and 2 pendents. I have had absolutely no problem with the bands or pendants.

What an inspiring story!! BTW, if you plan on wearing that wedding dress ever again you'd better have it taken in a little! :D Congratulations to you and my wishes for a swift (painless) pregnancy and a happy, healthy bundle of joy!
