All of you people can add me. I appreciate having so many active and inspiring friends. I see some of mine above, too! Hi guys!

Thanks! Sent you a request. I share my diary too :-) Sent you a request too!

Thanks for the request :-) When I lived in NYC I would have to leave my apartment around 2:00am to get a workout in before work at 4:30am (yes, seriously. I did it for about 3 years and was only late twice), so I know how real the struggle to make it out of the house on time can be and you don't want to skip breakfast. I…

Really great advice^^

Wow. It's creepy how much I can relate to that. Also, eggplant parm. Mmmmmmmmmm. So lucky they don't have those in India :-p
-
Do it! It may feel difficult to drag yourself out of bed earlier, but you will be surprised at how much more energy you'll have :-)

Thank you! :-D

Haha, our routines are almost the same. I pour a cup of warm lemon water with honey and drink it while I browse MFP. Then I move onto coffee and a biscuit or other light food and work for a little while (I'm a freelance content writer so luckily I don't have to do the whole race out of the house to work thing anymore), and…

Thank you! :-D

Thank you so much! I am trying really hard this time. Since I came back to MFP I've been on here way more than FB. This is my fourth time down on the weight roller coaster and as usual I'm hoping it will be my last once I lose all the weight. I'm also here and you can talk to me any time! <3

I never really considered whether or not I had an issue with binge eating until recently. When I think about it, throughout high school I was sort of a loner. I would come home from school and while my brother was out skateboarding or practicing drums, I would grab a snack and sit down in front of the TV. A sandwich would…

That's lovely. I love waking up before the sun rises. It's so quiet and calm. I really enjoy silence in the morning.

Thank you so much to whoever made this post. I messed up my diet yesterday- trying to stick to 1200 calories a day or less- and ended up eating more than two days' worth of food. I've had my fair share of binge days, last one was not too long ago and I ate an entire medium pan pizza with extra cheese and six chocolate…

I've lost almost 4 lbs in the last two weeks by tracking my calories and walking everyday. One of my friends just told me last night, "Yeah? Well I've lost the same amount in 7 days because I'm only eating breakfast! I need to lose 33 lbs by March so I'm just not eating." I told her how stupid that is and bet her that I'll…

I keep kicking myself for not buying a scale when I moved to India. If I had been watching my weight it wouldn't have snuck up on me like it did, but like you said, no benefit in looking back, only forward! I'm sure you'll feel much better once you're living healthy again for a while :-)

"If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." I believe you're posting in a "Motivation and Support" forum, so it would be great if you would kindly keep your comments motivating and supportive or keep them to yourself. Just because YOU would have to restrict your calories to 800 per day in order to…

I'm not a mom, but I work from home for the first time in my life. I have to lose at least 30 lbs and this is the first time I've ever tried to lose weight without having a gym membership and walking to work everyday. Having friends on MFP is a huge motivation for me. It really helps when I'm trying to keep myself from…

Definitely some truth to all that. It took me a while to get used to the food culture here, but I love to cook and have learned so much about the different foods that after a year I can understand what is healthy and what isn't. And it's so great that all the fresh fruits and veggies (and all the food in general, but…

That's ironic- the same exact thing happened to me, but when I moved out of the US. This is my first time ever working from home and not having access to a gym when I want to lose weight. Plus, Indians eat TONS of rice and everything you eat outside has SO MUCH OIL. It's very difficult to keep track here, but I've been…

I've been on the "larger" side my whole life. The first time I lost weight was around 2006/2007 when I started working at a fitness center in CT. I lost about 40 lbs and was feeling amazing. Then I moved to NYC with some friends and gained it all back (and then some) in my first year and a half. I got a job at a gym there…

That's exactly what I do- it's great advice. If you don't keep enough snacks around, you won't have a choice. Also, drinking more water helps a lot. And coffee with no sugar usually does the trick for me. I have 2-3 cups a day around snack times if I'm not really hungry but just want something to taste.

Thanks for the advice :-) Struggling a bit today, but so far so good. I was thinking of going for a walk later on too :-)

Don't even get me started on everything that's wrong with the way people have to eat in the US. The epidemic is sad over there. I hope MFP is working for you :-)
-
I can totally relate!
-
Oh, I forgot, Australia right? Those are some pretty crazy prices :-(
-
I'm sure you can do it...my advice as this is my fourth time around on the cycle of gaining and losing, keep using MyFitnessPal when you move!

LOL "FYI, we do NOT have fortune cookies around here." I had no idea haha. China has actually become number two in the world for obesity. I always blamed that on McDonalds expanding their market.

Are you in the US? Sure sounds like it. It's a serious tradgedy that healthy fresh food could be so expensive anywhere.
