Try c25k, it starts very gradually, with stopping and walking being a part of the programme. Will build you up to a level of fitness so you can either switch to something you prefer or carry on running. Otherwise try following workout videos, pause it when you need to rest and then play again, this way you finish the…

What is your activity level set to on MFP? What is your calorie goal before fitbit? You might be double dipping here. In terms of eating more calories, just substitute some of the "healthy" options you have now with foods that you used to eat.

Yeah, they want to hear a magic formula. Them - How have you lost the weight? Me - Reduced my calories T - Oh no dont have the patience for that M - It's mostly been high protein, moderate fat and low carbs with intermittent fasting T - Wow, tell me more

Ketchup, BBQ, Mayonnaise etc Yes. Soy sauce, hot sauce etc No.

2 bananas at 1.30pm for exercise at 2.30pm. I've fallen into IF due to preferring 2 big meals.

How did they test your body fat? Most methods are pretty inaccurate. For example you started at 172 lb and 40% body fat, so 69lb of fat. You've lost 14lb, if only half of that was fat (allowing for water and muscle loss) that is closer to a 5% reduction than 2%. (Think my numbers are right) You're better off going with…

Your lifts haven't really progressed if up 10 pounds means your squat has only increased by 10lb between December and March. I'd suggest stronglifts or starting strength as a good beginners programme to progress. You'll be adding 10lb every 2 weeks.

Aim to hit your protein for muscle recovery and retention, apart from that eat what you want within your calories.

Anyone I've known that had weight "drop off" had it "pile back on" when they stopped "dieting". This is because they haven't taken the time to develop a healthy relationship with food and learn portion control. Keep going at a healthy rate, like you are, and be comfortable when 2lb a week stops being sustainable and you…

Got a house, what's it worth?
-
Pickles/gherkins and pickled onions work best for me. I don't have a particularly sweet tooth, don't crave it often, but when I do I'm liable to burn through any chocolate in the house in rapid succession. But a small bowl of pickles seems to curb it straight away and is itself very low in cals.

Rather than waiting til you're 20lbs down, how about recording your weight loss somewhere visible like a calendar so he can see the gradual consistent weight loss you're experiencing.
-
Came here to say this. Seems to quash most cravings but especially when looking for something sweet.

I think some people get used to seeing you a certain way and don't see what you see. I got lots of comments about not needing to lose, now looking back at pictures I've got people saying I can't believe how big you were.

Should probably post in success stories based on the title, and with pictures and/Or more information. Other than that, well done bud.

Just here to see if anyone's posted the graphic

I haven't read all the relplies, but honestly the difference between the 2 doesn't matter. What does is the downward trend, do you weigh less the yesterday/last week/last month, they're the measurements that matter

Do today what will still work tomorrow. Go for a run to earn extra calories? Great as long as you enjoy running, otherwise you'll quickly end up eating the same amount without the run. Keto makes you lose weight quickly? Awesome, but if you're a pasta fiend dropping weight for a holiday don't be surprised if it all comes…

Calories in < Calories out

Calorie deficit is the only thing for losing fat. If you're doing exercise to assist in meeting your deficit, to allow for more calories or to increase your fitness then the best one will be the one you keep to. The difference in calories burned is negligible compared to the difference if you start skipping workouts…

At lunch. 100% not a morning person, tried it a few times and either sat there drinking coffee contemplating exercise until it was time to get ready for work or on the rare occasion I've dragged myself out I've hated every moment. Evenings were fine til it started to take too much time from the family. So now I start work…

Pickles/gherkins or pickled onions. 200g is around 25 calories and especially good at removing cravings for sweet things (at least for me)

Holy *kitten* it's aqua man

Pot noodle - 436 calories, I'd eat it as a snack with a slice or 2 of bread. 600 calories as a snack and barely touched the sides.
-
Gherkins and pickled onions around 30 cal per 100g depending on brand. For me they have the added benefit of making me feel relatively full and instantly removing food cravings, especially sweets/chocolate cravings.

I chuck mine in my protein shake. Never considered doing lines of it....does it get it into the system quicker? >:)

Why do you feel you need to change anything? You say that since the stitches came out you've been losing around 1 to 1.5lb a week. This seems fine to me at the moment if you are content with what you're eating (which I assume you are), just stick with what you're doing. As you lose weight your calorie requirements will…

Are you able to put a couple of small pieces of tape on a hard surface floor? You can then put the feet of the scales on the tape square so that you know it is in the same place each time, might not be completely accurate if the floors aren't level but it will at least be out by the same amount each time. It matters more…
