I'm in! Start weight- 211 lbs Current weight- 197 lbs Goal weight- 170 lbs by June 1st While I know this goal weight is totally reasonable and doable, I've not been that in 10 years, and it feels surreal to be this close! I want so badly to meet this goal!

Can I be in? 30 pounds is exactly what I have to lose! I also am trying to eat "clean".
-
Feel free to friend me. I'm not doing Atkins, but I am seriously limiting processed sugar and carbs.
-
I have learned to use honey, and I love it. It's worth the calories and at least there are some health benefits. (Not so with sugar or artifical sugar)
-
I am limiting my sugar intake too, because I was diagnosed as insulin resistant. This is my own personal experience, and many on here will disagree, but my body does react differently to fruit vs a candy bar. When I eat fruit, I don't crave more, I don't get that crash, and I still lose weight. So I am avoiding processed…

I have excellent reasons. I have been diagnosed as insulin resistant, type II diabetes runs in my family, and my primary care doctor strongly encouraged it. There are many good reasons for cutting back or cutting out sugar.
-
Literally the exact same thing is happening to me! I completely cut out processed sugar for new years, but am still eating some fruits and very little organic sugar, and I've been getting afternoon headaches.
-
Feel free to friend me :)

I love Luna protein chocolate chip cookie dough. I love to have it with my afternoon coffee! :p
-
Every morning I do milk/water, unsweetened cocoa, banana, spinach, and strawberry yogurt. I love it.

Feel free to friend me! :)

I love Celestial Seasonings blueberry tea hot. It's wonderful. I don't even sweeten it.

Please add me!

Feel free to add me! Best wishes to you!

I also see the whole world getting addicted to prescription medications. Some are absolutely necessary, but some could easily be prevented by simple lifestyle changes. I am at that fork in the road, where if I do not make some changes, I am next in line for blood pressure medicine and diabetic medication.

I have a very busy life, and I want to do more, not less. I want more energy!
-
Back pain makes me think gallbladder. But yes, you could feel gas in your back. Hopefully it's just gas!
-
Do you use a lot of butter or olive oil on it? Do you still have your gallbladder?

I have recently decided to drastically cut processed sugar from my diet (diabetes runs in my family) and I am shocked at how I do not crave it like I used to. I am 10 days in, and easily turning it down. I have found that substituting processed sugar with fruit and honey is just as satisfying.
-
Add me if you like, my name is Kandis too :) My goals are very similar to yours. I am a mom and work full time and stay super busy! Best wishes!

You might look up sugar addiction and see if you fit that profile. A lot of what you said fits that profile. I was a sugar addict! Best of luck to you!
-
If you tend to be a creature of habit, trying different foods or different exercise might help you get around that plateau. :) Good luck!

COFFEE <3 grapefruit baking with coconut flour

I've heard it's great for you!
-
Glad you're better! You got this!

Coffee is good for you. It's the creamers and sugars that are not so good. Do you like black coffee?

I love fresh vegetables in a good soup. I use beef broth, garlic, cabbage, onion, zucchini, carrots, kidney beans, tomatoes, basil, oregano, pepper, and sea salt.

Is around 200 calories, and it is my end of the day treat that I work towards. Melt coconut oil in microwave first for about 30 seconds, then add all other ingredients and mix well. Microwave about 30 seconds. The coconut flour is an important ingredient. It is healthy and very, very tasty.

Almost every night, I make a brownie with it! 1tbsp coconut oil, 1tbsp coconut flour, 1tbsp water, 1tbsp unsweetened cocoa, and I mix a couple drops of liquid stevia with 1 tsp raw honey. So so so good. :)

The rice should not be in it. And your portions for calculating are super high. That is how much is in a POT of soup, not a cup or bowl. The reason it is "0 calorie" is because you burn more calories digesting the vegetables than what they are worth, but still retain the vitamins and minerals. And the full feeling from the…
