I never go over. If anything I am always under by 1 gram at least. A lot of processed foods are high in salt. It's just about making healthier lifestyle choices

It absolutely is reflected in weight loss. The diastolic is important too.

I have had bursitis for 2 years on/off. I had 4 months of physio and a steroid injunction for it 4-5 months ago. I didn't seek medical attention and it got worse and extended all the way down my outer thigh and as a result it caused problems with the IT band and I now also have outer knee pain. The good thing is physio ( 4…

What do you mean?

I mean as far as the plot goes it is pretty cheesy. I wouldn't pay to watch it but it came up on Netflix and I was curious. I was actually interested in the relationship between ana and Christian. I'd give it a 6/10....

I think the main thing is are you losing weight? I have walkmeter app. It is very good I walk 3 mph 70 minutes and cover just over 3 miles and it says I burn 340 calories..... I don't eat all of these back ever at the most 200 are eaten back if I am particularly hungry. Sometimes I eat none back. I have always lost weight…

i've lost 14 lbs by walking! it's a great thing to do and free!
-
I am 5 ft 5 in and started off 227 pounds. I have lost 14 pounds in 90 days and eat 1540 then 1500 at a rate of 1.5 lbs When I put this into a graph it averages out to 1.2 lbs per week so I too am happy with the figures. This is fine for me and I am happy. I would hate to go lower as I love food and I really don't see the…

Balsamic vinegar with some pepper

I have been on this medication in the past for migraines. I am now off it. I was on it for 1 year which was 6 months past my neurologists recommendations. It never helped with any weight loss.
-
Yes I did 4 months of this with physio and was pain free for a month or so then it came back. Undergoing physio again
-
I didn't say all physio :) physio for IT band is quite painful. I was warned it might be.
-
I am having physio for FAI hip problem with a widespread bursitis in same hip and have this knee pain too which is to do with IT band. Physio do treatments but the treatments are very painful which is a known fact. I have only been allowed to do walking for the last year. Hoping to get back to some sort of rigorous…

No name for my song.... just a song my patient with dementia sang to me today whilst I was working with her.... it was a song about the tasks I was carrying out. And had a very distinctive rhythms! Cannot get it out of my head.... nursing is a privilege :)

Has never changed it for me either. When I reach my goal weight I adjust what my new goal weight is then it adjusts my calories

obviously this post has caused a bit of a stir which wasn't my intention. it's sad that some human compassion cannot be extended to people. this is something i see quite a lot of on here. going to bow out of this community i think as i'm always jumped on for saying the wrong thing. someone even pretty much called me stupid…

ok guys, let's get some perspective! it generates debates ok? and the OP (me) is not saying she lost it at a healthy rate. as far as make up etc go's ... don't knock someone for wanting to make the best of their new looks! i do not wear make up at all ( i don't need to ;) but i'm certainly not going to judge someone on…

Point taken. But yes, still an amazing story.

Wanted to say lightbulb moment! Thanks for that.

Sorry, I'm not getting it! Aren't they both the same.... deficit/ under?
-
are you at a deficit of 4500 cals, or are you 4500 under your weekly goal What is the difference between these 2?
-
Hi, Thank you for your input. Um, 7lb increments..... I have a fair bit to lose and wanted to set smaller goals and just thought 7 pounds seemed appropriate.... some people put their goal weight as their final weight they actually want to get too.... that wouldn't work for me motivation wise. Not sure what you mean by…

maybe mvp could start a thread on foods high in oxolates? my husband also has just had surgery to remove a kidney stone and is changing his diet
-
ok i think it was dehydration. i just drank 2 litres of water and now it's not neon anymore! i have just honestly never noticed that colour before
-
Thank you everyone for your comments.
-
I have had 2 cups of tea today and 1 cup of options hot chocolate made with skimmed milk..... I clearly haven't drank enough but dehydration makes urine go a dark brownish colour like really concentrated. Not a neon one
-
I have never drank energy drinks

Yes, I will see my gp Monday. I do not take any vitamins. I never have. I'm not on any medication. As far as I am aware I haven't added anything new to my diet. I am vegetarian so I have always included vegetables in my diet daily...... it's just odd that it is only just starting to happen now.... and yes I was very…
